The husband and wife walked down the halls of their laboratory. Percival or Percy as those close to him calls him, stopped in his tracks to turn to look at his wife. He raised a hand and lovingly caress her in the side of her face.
His wife, Adelle, a beautiful woman with hair of silk and eyes of the brightest star, smiled sadly at him. She unconsciously leaned into his warmth, putting her hand on top of his.
"I know, Adelle. I know," he whispered. "But we can't delay this any further. The longer we draw this out, the harder it will be for Alice,"
