Jet Carlisle, a cynical young man, is one of the unfortunate few who could hear it. But something troublesome attached herself to him. Though there might be something more to the pesky girl than meets the eye. 

And Jet would find out whether he wanted to or not.

CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR

All three men were on their feet at once at Jet's outburst. Clinton and Ronnie helped with prying the younger man off of the scared doctor. But his grasps would not loosen. Both of them were even tempted to let Ronnie used his abilities.

Alec, on the other hand, calmly stepped between them. He put a hand on top of Jet's and stared straight into his eyes.

Shocked, Jet loosened his hold a bit as he stared at his partner.

"Let her go, Jet," Alec ordered calmly. Jet's face contorted to another shade of anger.

"She experimented on Alice!" Jet spat, tightening his hold on her once more. "Experimented on her! She's not a guinea pig!"

"Jet!" Alec called, his calm tone put a stop to Jet's anger.
