CHAPTER SIXTY-THREE

Leto quickly agreed to change places because of three reasons.

One: they were indeed gathering too many audiences.

Two: they risk having other people hear their conversations and it was far too sensitive to be talked about in such a place.

And third: she was afraid if she declined Alec Slade would cut her down right there and then. 

But instead of leading her out of the door where they've entered, Clinton had to lead her towards the back through the kitchen. The staff did not even spare them a glance like it was normal. Like they were allowed in there. 

Curious, she stared at the back of the imposing man as she thought about who he really was. The diner she had chosen was far closer to the Division One building than his. Yet—yet he seemed to still have connections to it.
