CHAPTER SEVENTY-THREE

CHAPTER SEVENTY-THREE

Jet and Alec rolled in into the office with the younger man full of. . . Joy. All other agents and office workers alike that knew him jumped out of the way of the young man's laughing demeanor. He was scary when mad. But somehow, he was scarier when he's happy.

The recently rescued crow was sitting on top of his head, chirping happily at finally being let out of the enclosure. Alec on the other hand was just glad that his partner was no longer depressed.

Alec thought back to the happenings of the last couple of hours. They had found out that it was actually illegal to keep a crow as a pet. Thankfully, with their connection to the agency and with Clinton's backing, they were quickly given a special permit to keep Ao.

If it wasn't because of Clinton's timely call, Jet would have already wreaked havoc at the animal center.

"Someone's in a good mood," Ronnie commented in a singsongy voice.
