CHAPTER EIGHTY-ONE

Jet glanced around the school yard he and Alec had been called in. Seeing as the monster appeared in such a place, they were assigned to it since his partner had teleportation. Jet was only thankful the side effects of his partner's ability was not as severe as the one he had the last time.

He still couldn't understand how it worked. But each time Alec would bring him to teleport, the side effects were different each case. There was even a time where Jet had to be carried out by paramedics since the effect hadn't subsided despite how many minutes he waited.

That was one of the most embarrassing time of his life. He was there to rescue yet—he was one of the people who were carried away. And he hadn't even done anything!
