CHAPTER EIGHTY-THREE
After walking through the portal, Alec found himself inside his living room. Noah looked around curiously. He started walking around, bumping into things. Alec thought his clumsiness had something to do with how his body suddenly grew. Noah was probably still moving as he was before—with a body of a 2nd-year high school.
When he knocked over Alec's side table with a flower vase, Alec quickly rushed towards him and calmed him down. He led the kid towards his sofa and told him to sit down. He actually had no care if Noah were to destroy his whole apartment. He wasn't bragging but with the money his parents had left him, he could just buy a whole, new place.
The problem was the tenant downstairs his apartment. If his neighbor would file a noise complaint, the building superintendent would pay him a visit. And it would be hard to hide Noah if someone were to check on his place.
