CHAPTER NINETY-TWO

Leto shook her head. "No. It's understandable. But, if I may ask Clinton, what is your plan?" 

"A war," Clinton answered, his expression guarded and his voice hard. "We're giving them what they want," 

Leto expected that answer. But it hadn't answered her question. There was no plan in that; just action. The decisions they would make would lead to war. But what action would they take to start it? 

The doctor wanted to ask. She wanted to know if they had a concrete plan that wouldn't end up with them all dead even before they could start. But with the aura surrounding the man in front of her, all the words she wanted to say were lodged in her throat.
