Pancakes [Liam's POV]

She loves pancakes… she really loves pancakes, chocolate pancakes, blueberry pancakes, any kind of pancakes she has in front, she just devours them.

I don't understand her sweet taste, it is just like a miracle to me, how can she eat that much chocolate cake or any kind of cake without throwing up? I even thought of telling her to stop and that she was getting a bit… well, I can't tell her, or she will kill me.

Never mind, to get her to do something I had to buy almost any kind of restaurant she liked or invite the chefs she was a fan of, though I didn't like that. Not in the least, she was jumping and sharing her sweet smiles with those chefs… then, of course, I had to learn cooking to please her.

The first time I entered a kitchen was simply to amaze her, to enchant her, and to attract her. I had to make sure she was only looking at me and thinking it twice before leaving me… again.

Three times, yes, that daring woman left me three times before, and I could only think about how cruel and shameless she was at that time, but I couldn't hate her. She left me without giving me any kind of explanation or even hope, she was an expert at not leaving any trace, or so she thought. I was so desperate.

Then again… I learned to cook, I learned the fascinating world of mixing, frying, cutting. I learned it all for her, only for her.

Now, I am already loving my new habit, to wake up earlier than her every morning, then run around the mansion for about an hour, take a shower, and prepare her breakfast, well, not just hers but my sweet daughter's, my princess.

However, this morning is special, more than any other because this is our first anniversary. On this day, we have one year of marriage. The day I finally got her was this day a year ago, and I promised I won't let her leave me again.

So… let's make pancakes.

"Good morning, beautiful," again her teasing voice from behind. She always makes me laugh from her little antics… does she know that this day is our first anniversary? I bet she doesn't, she even forgot her birthday… does she know mine? I will punish her later if she doesn't remember.

"Good morning, darling," I smiled, but I didn't turn around. She was still standing behind the kitchen counter. Maybe she has many questions. She should.

"Then… are you not gonna tell me?"

"Mmm?"

"Why are all the staff and Hannah on leave? There is nobody in this part of the mansion."

Well, I just couldn't let them come here at this time, right? This moment is for a one-year married couple only, not intruders allowed.

"Liam?"

"Darling, the breakfast is ready."

"Smells delicious. Let me help you."

She is coming to this side, finally.

"Liam… let… me…" her face is so fascinating. Her beautiful blue eyes that never stopped me from gulping down were round like plates, and her pair of lips that made me go crazy from the first moment I tasted them were forming a perfect circle. "This… "

Her face went red from the neck to the ears, but her eyes couldn't stop looking at me. How bold. "Well, what do you think?"

"This… don't…"

"Don't?"

"Don't move from there," she raised an eyebrow and took off her robe and the nightdress underneath, even the soft lingerie that was obstructing my view. Then she moved to my side and took the only clothing I was wearing, the apron. Well, I just wanted to surprise her.

I guess we won't have breakfast… for now.

*cough*

"So… you are Storm?"

I sat before the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, she was wearing a blond wig and glasses. Smart girl, at least she won't go around with anyone without protecting herself first.

"Thunder?"

That voice… I felt my soul already on her hand with that sweet voice of her. Even her smile and eyes that kept inspecting me were a dangerous arrow to my teenage heart. I knew from that moment that I didn't need to look for any other, she was the one and the only. However, it ended so fast, so fast…

She was an incredible and sometimes shameless girl that I met one day online. I talked to her, I told her about hacking jobs with some friends of mine, and then I ask her to meet me.

Never thought that she would be that stunning, and I knew that she was feeling the same about me. Her little gazes were my hint, and her kiss was my price.

I sold my heart to a little devil.

"What about the rumors?"

"Which rumors?"

"The ones with the Rose girl, Liam, is it true that you proposed to her?"

"What?"

"Come on, you don't have to lie… we are friends, aren't we?"

"…"

"That hurts…"

"Tch…"

"Then… are you two together?"

"No, we aren't," this is annoying.

"Then… do you like her?"

"No."

"What?"

Rose was an awkward acquaintance, her brother was someone I respected, but… he left this world many years ago. I promised I wouldn't let her sister end like him.

I helped her in school to fight the bullies, I think her stepsister was scheming something, though I really didn't care. Not until the school people began to pair me with that stepsister, I don't even remember her name.

Then the evil stepsister was going out of control against Rose, I had to do something and then those rumors exploded. I hoped she wasn't deluded from them. It would be seriously troublesome if she were, even more, when my beautiful Storm was making sweet tsunamis in my heart.
