Chapter 22

Hoseok sighed, Jimin got water and stood next to him. Hoseok was slumping against the wall.

"What's wrong Hobi?"

"I am just tired."

Jimin raised an eyebrow. "Try again, what is bothering you?"

Hoseok looked Jimin. "Aya and I were texting yesterday evening."

"But ain't that a good thing? Why do you look like a steamroller sucked you in and rolled you out?

A smiled tugged at Hoseok's lips. "She finally asked what I do for a living."

"And let me guess. You told her you are not a pop star."

"I told her I work in the entertainment industry, she then asked what part in the industry. So I said I am a choreographer."

Hoseok sank down to the floor with his hands in his hair.

"Jimin, I told her a semi-truth. What if... What if..."

Jimin bent down next to Hoseok.

"Hobi, I am not going to tell you, you did the right thing or the wrong thing but you did give her half a truth. You don't have time for what-ifs."

He placed his hand on Hoseok shoulder.

"I can see it is bothering you terribly, I understand that you want to protect her from this life. But to what extend?"

Hoseok looked at Jimin.

"What should I do, Jimin? I really love this girl."

"Love? Hobi... Then you have your answer, don't you?"

"Yes... I think I do. Alright, after this tour I'll tell her everything."

"That's the spirit Hobi, come on." He gave him his hand and pulled him up. "Let's do this."

He let Jimin pull him up. "Thank you."

"Anytime, Hobi. You'll see it will work out in the end."

Hoseok smiled. "I guess you are right." Jimin gave him a nod and started walking back to the group.

Hoseok got out his phone, he put it on silent so that he wouldn't draw attention. He saw Aya's message, he smiled.

"I am happy for you Aya, I won't be able to text you for a while. I'm holding my fingers crossed for you."

He pressed send and put his phone away, he joined the others.

Aya was rushing, she got dressed and hurried from her apartment to the bus, she climbed on. Taking out her phone, new message.

"Thank you, Hobi. Don't worry about it, I know you are busy, even if you don't reply I know you are with me."

She put away her phone, she got off the bus and ran for the bookstore making it in time for her interview.

She excited the bookstore after an hour, she took out her phone. She texted Hoseok.

"Hoseok, I have great news I got the job, I start tomorrow. Hope your day is going well."

She sent a message to Carl. "I've done it, want to go out and celebrate?"

"Aya! I am so proud, sure we'll come to pick you up at 7."

"Sounds good, I'll be ready."

She walked past a craft shop, she saw beautiful material for making bracelets, she entered the shop. She bought a few things, she can't wait to get home.

Her thoughts were with Hoseok, he must be working very hard. She's going to make Hoseok a good luck bracelet for his tour, and surprise him at the airport.

She walked to the bus stop, her phone vibrated.
