Chapter 23

She got on the bus before taking out her phone.

"Aya, congratulations! That is indeed wonderful news. I am proud of you."

She smiled, even though she said he doesn't news to reply, he is replying.

"Thank you, Hoseok. I am very excited to start working, Carl, Gavin and I are going out to celebrate tonight, you are probably busy?"

"That sounds like a party, I am sorry Aya, but I won't be able to make it."

"No worries, I don't want to keep you longer from your work. Remember to eat something, you can't work on an empty stomach."

She slapped her forward after sending the text, really Aya did you just say that? He is going to think you are trying to mother him.

She got off the bus, walked to her apartment when her phone vibrated again.

"Thank you, for reminding me. You are so thoughtful, I always have time for you, but I want you to enjoy your evening to the fullest."

She smiled, well at least he didn't think she was mothering him. She opened her door, placing her package on the ground before replying.

"I will! So this is where we say we will text each other tomorrow, due to schedule."

"Yes, just remember I am always there with you."

She read the message again, she ponders if she should drop a hint that she would see him before his plane leaves on Monday.

"And I with you, Hoseok."

She put her phone down, she opened the package and set the crafts on her table, she sat on the floor. She started plaiting a green and purple bracelet.

Her tongue was between her teeth with concentration, she bought a few charms which she clipped on, a phone, a coffee cup and a puppy. She smiled proud of her creation.

Her phone vibrated.

"Aya, Gavin and I are on our way."

She jumped up, that time already! She jumped in the shower, quickly dressed and combed her hair, she picked up her bag when her doorbell rung.

Just in time. She opened it, Gavin and Carl stood in the door. Gavin opened his arms.

"Aya, darling!" He higher her then kissed both her cheeks. "It has been so long since I've seen you."

Aya smiled. "Gavin, I agree if Carl wasn't such a clingy boyfriend you and I could have gone out more often."

Carl grunted. "Who are you calling clingy? If you weren't such a home bug, we would have painted the town red."

They all laughed, Carl peered over her shoulder. "Wait don't tell me you got ready in 10 minutes?"

Aya pushed them a bit out the door, locking her apartment. "I don't know what you are talking about, I was ready when your message came through."

Carl rolled his eyes, Gavin chuckled. "Carl told me you've met someone, so are you making something for him?

" Yes, I bought a few things to make him a bracelet, he is going out of the country on Monday so I thought to make him something for good luck." She glared daggers at Carl, who only shrugged.

They walked to the car. "He must be one special guy, Aya to deserve your attention like this."

Gavin opened the passenger door for Aya.
