Chapter 27

Seven pairs of eyes looked down on her. "Uhm..."

Hoseok blinked a few times. "Aya?" He rushed forward bending slightly offering his hand. Forgetting where they are and the eyes upon them.

There were a lot of squeals. "J-hope!"

Aya took his hand, her elbows were grazed. She looked into his eyes when he helped her up. He was still holding her hand.

"Hoseok? Why are the people calling you J-Hope?"

The other members were watching them, Jimin stepped forward. "Army, let's applaud J-Hope for helping a damsel in distress. He started clapping, turning to Hoseok, gesturing with his eyes.

Hoseok came back to reality, as the crowd started to clap. He saw the confusion in Aya's eyes. He turned, not letting go of her hand and started walking as fast as he could dragging her along.

Excited screams were following them, he opened a random door and closed the door behind them. He turned to Aya.

" Hoseok? You haven't answered my question. Why are they calling you J-Hope?"

Hoseok let out a sigh. "Aya I...I."

"You aren't a choreographer, are you?"

Aya was pacing a little.

"Aya, please..."

Aya didn't stop pacing. "I... I should go." She stopped pacing heading for the door but Hoseok blocked her way.

"Aya please listen to me." He placed his hands on her shoulders, levelling their eyes. "I am a choreographer, just one in a band I am in. I am a K-pop idol."

Aya tried to take a step back, but Hoseok was holding her in place. "Aya." His voice was pleading.

She was just looking at him. Her name sounded like a soft prayer from his lips.

"You gave me half a truth? I gave you all of what is me, and you deemed it okay to lie to me?"

Her breathing was accelerating, she looked away from him trying to get out of his grip. Hoseok steadied his grip. "Aya, please look at me."

She shook her head. "Please let me go, Hoseok."

"Not until you look at me, please..." Aya turned her gaze back to his face. "You have no idea how I struggled with myself, I wanted to keep you safe from this life."

"Safe? Hoseok, it does not justify that you've been lying to me. I can't believe I have placed my trust in you."Tears were streaming down her face.

" Aya, you have to believe me when I say that it wasn't my intention to hurt you than I already have, by not being truthful. I had this internal struggle with myself."

She broke free from his grip, she opened her bag taking out the present she made. "I need time to process this." She placed the present in his hands. "Goodbye, Hoseok."

She moved past him and left.

Hoseok stood alone in the room, looking down at the small box she left in his hands.

He didn't know when the tears started. Would she be able to forgive him? He opened the box, he lifted the bracelet. He felt his heart breaking into a million pieces.

He carefully turned it in his hands, there was a card inside.

"My dear Hoseok, may this bracelet bring you comfort in the month we are not together, with all my Love Aya."
