Chapter 36

Aya sighed, she knew she couldn't stall Carl any longer.

"I know... But let's just finish dinner, I promise I will talk then."

Carl gave her a nod, taking a bite off food. "Gavin misses you."

"He does?"

"Yeah, he really wants to see you more, Aya."

"You know, I like lazing at home."

"I have told him this, so he said that I should drag you out of this shoebox you live in."

Aya snorted. "Tell, Gavin I happen to like my shoebox. I get where you are coming from Carl, I'll come over for dinner."

"You keep promising but never go through with it."

Aya stuck out her tongue at Carl. He chuckled at her. "You're so childish sometimes."

"I am not childish, I am still a child at heart."

They finished dinner, Aya took their plates, putting it in the sink. "I'll put the kettle on again for more tea. You'll need it."

Carl lifted an eyebrow. "Are you planning to keep me here the whole evening?"

"I might, I really need to talk to someone and you know everything that aspired up until now."

Her phone beeped, she forgot she left it in her room.

Carl smirked. "You'll have to check it, it might be from your Hobi."

Aya rolled her eyes at Carl. "Who is childish now." She left the kitchen.

Carl took their cups to the living room, he made himself comfortable.

Aya picked up her phone, new message.

"Aya, I saw your message now. The show went great, thank you for cheering me from afar. Thoughts of you are keeping me going. "

Aya smiled she knew Carl won't be patient any longer.

"Hoseok, I am so happy the show went great! I am wishing that I was there cheering you on."

She was about to put her phone away when it beeped again.

It was a photo of her bracket on his wrist with the caption. "You are with me always."

Her heart stopped. He was wearing the bracelet she made, she quickly replied.

"You are making my heart skip a beat, Hoseok. Carl is here we are having a heart to heart. I guess I should say Good morning instead of Good Night, I wish you the sweetest of dreams."

She put her phone on silent, returning to Carl in the living room he had a big grin on his face.

"Was I right?"

She sat down across from him. "You really want me to answer that?

" I want you to admit it."

"I am not admitting anything."

Carl chuckled lifting his cup to his lips.

"Fine, so spill it. Tell me your darkest secrets, Aya Yang."

"Look who is getting all dark and broody." Aya picked up her tea. "I still have issues with my emotions."

Carl nodded. "What issues are you referring to?"

"Trust issues, insecurities and the fact that I keep comparing Hoseok to Luke."

Carl spat his tea out at her small confession.

"How can you compare Jung Hoseok to a dumbass like Luke Wong?"

Aya narrowed her eyes. "That's what you get from that statement? Comparing not my insecurity or trust issues?"

Carl wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Those make a full circle back to Luke Wong, Aya."
