I dragged myself through the pain. Out the corner I saw beast, it was upright and had claws which twisted in different directions. My heart began racing. It might end me. Them my vision got swirly. My eyes turned watery. My vision was glued to the cieling. No one could save me... or so I thought. Oaic leaped in and shot out her slime. I then passed out. I woke up quickly. Then I heard a loud thump. From the roof came a leg. It was covered with the black crust I'd seen in Daed. The leg began to close in and from the inside, came out the avenger. It's eyes flashed before returning to being pitch black with a white iris. It took a step forward. "Hey, Why'd you kill him" he said glaring at me. I gulped. "Answer me". I remained silent. "I said, answer me!!" it said raising its hands, sharpening it's claws. I turned around to try find Oaic. She was hanging from the ceiling, swaying gently. I propelled myself up and got her out. I started sprinting. At the very end of the hall, there was a black mist. "Remember". Suddenly my vision began to blur. I stumbled and dropped her. I could feel my eyes rolling back in my skull. I began to see vivid memories of mother. Her lips moved but I couldn't hear what they were saying. I stared in horror as her image was replaced by a snowy blizzard. I tightly held onto my little brother. In front of me stood two figures. Their masks moved but I still couldn't hear. Then, time went back and came back into reality. I was stunned. Thoughts of what they said came to haunt me. Memories of what I'd seen in the tower flashed back to me. My memories danced around me. What had I done to deserve this. Nothing. It wasn't my fault. I didn't tell them anything... nothing... nothing. I don't wanna feel this sensation. Was it real. It wasn't my fault... it wasn't my fault... it wasn't. "Wake up!" I heard a voice say. I looked up. Oaic had a panicked look on her face. I looked behind and saw the black mist. What was there to lose. I got up and began to walk there. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!". I kept walking. In the mist, stood a figure. It had a suit, like four hundred years ago. It opened it's suitcase. It asked, "If you could die right now and fail at everything else, would you give up and decide to sell?". I nodded and took a step forwards. As the mist consumed me, I felt something touch my back. I was pulled out from there and flung onto the floor. I laid there wondering who I had just spoke with. A demon, no it's silhouette looked nothing like one. It resembled a human so why was it so dark inside. Who was I talking to. Then, a little voice spoke in my head, "It was the man in the mirror".
