Chapter Two

I just stood there, mesmerized by the scene that was unfolding in front of me. Then she turned and looked at me. As our eyes met, I saw her hazel eyes as they were lit by sunlight. Thoughts came flooding in my mind as I start thinking about what I should do. Then I realize that I wasn't supposed to be there.

"You…"

That was the only word I heard as I sprinted my way through the corridor. I basically ran my way to my house and I don't even know why I did that. When I got home, I went straight to my room and closed my eyes. The scene kept replaying inside my head over and over again. I ate my dinner and went straight to bed afterwards. Hoping that I get to sleep early and hoping that I get it out of my head.

But as it turns out, I can't. I'm still awake and whenever I close my eyes, the scene plays again inside my head. I just tumble left and right as I try to sleep my way through that. In the end, I just gave up and let it play. Then I realized that she was going to say something as I started to run out of the campus. Realizing that, I can't help but think that I'm such an idiot. Why the hell did I sprint out of the campus? I didn't even listen to what the girl was trying to say. But there's no point in regretting it now, what's done is done. In the end, she won't even care about me after that. The thought somehow managed to calm myself down and I was able to sleep after that.

I wake up, get out of bed, take a shower, change my clothes, eat breakfast and go to school. As I was walking to school, I realize that all the thinking that I did was just for nothing. In the end it'll never change the way my life goes. Just the same as before, something as insignificant as that would not be enough to change my life. I got to school on time, the class was the same like every other day, then it is time to go home again.

In the end, I got my hopes too high, I never believed that what happened would change my life but a part of me did. The part of me that was getting tired of the way I've been living my life. I walked on the corridor and as I turned to the stairs, I hoped that something would happen. Nothing, of course not, as if something like that would happen again. I walked on the school grounds just the same as I always did. But as I walked to the gate, I noticed her, standing by the gate, as if waiting for someone. Her black hair stretching up to her waist, her pale skin, thin lips, and those eyes that shine as they were hit by sunlight. As she noticed me, she fixed her eyes on me, never looking away even for a second.

I chose to ignore her and continue walking but when I did that she started walking towards me. When she got close enough, I stopped walking. Then she asked.

"Are you the one who saw me yesterday?"

Not knowing how I should answer, I just nodded as to answer her question.

"Then you're coming with me."

She grabbed my arm and dragged me along with her to who knows where. But there is one thing I'm sure of. She's leading me somewhere I wouldn't normally go. And this would change how I've lived my life so I just tagged along.
