Ava sat beneath the Wonder Willow's proud branches, a slight wind created by the magnificent spiritual environment blew her hair out of her face, revealing her unparalleled face that was decorated with a rare heavy frown.
Too many things involving Hazed just didn't make sense, but more than anything she the wondrous familiar feeling that he gave off that made her feel incomparably secure baffled her.
No matter how impressive his potential was, he was an ant compared to her!
But unlike normal people who might brush this feeling aside as nothing more than an overly active mind, Elite Cultivators know to trust their intuitions, especially cultivators as powerful as Ava.
Just as she was considering if she should run him down to try to figure everything out, something triggered her Spiritual Sense, and whatever it was, was moving fast.
"Wait! Isn't that the Elevator?!" Ava found herself asking to herself in disbelief.
The Elevator was moving far too fast and it was unable to stop in time, doing some light damage to the Wonder Willows trunk before coming to a halt.
'!Ding!'
The sound of the Elevator opening awoke both Hazed and Ava from their dazed states.
"Bad girl! Look at all the damage you caused!" Hazed couldn't help bt scold Wendy, even though it was half-heartedly.
This was her body to break after all.
"I'm sorry Daddy! Look I'll fix it!" Wendy said tearfully, she seemed terrified of disappointing Hazed.
And then like she was doing time magic, all of the debris returned to where it came from, healing the damage perfectly.
Ava watched this entire scene with her jaw on the ground, her disbelief far surpassing 'shock'.
"All better so don't be mad at me Mommy… I mean Daddy!"
It was at this moment that Hazed realized the deadly weapon that Wendy was holding, the weapon of cuteness!
"Wow! Great job baby girl! Now let's go say hi to your real Mommy."
Wendy looked at Hazed in confused, "But I thought you were my Mommy, my Daddy Mommy?"
He walked over to her and picked her up, giving her a hug and then carrying her in his arms all while speaking. He decided to completely block out anything related to him and the word mommy.
"No, the person who raised you, fed you, protected you, and the woman who is truly your mother, is the absolutely gorgeous Fairy sitting right over there, the one with her eyes wide as her mouth."
He couldn't help himself from teasing her a bit; old habits and all that…
Ava didn't even seem to notice Hazed's teasing, she was lost in her own world at the moment.
Seeing the adorable girl who was floating next to Hazed the first thought that crossed Ava's mind was, 'Wow her hair is the same color as the Wonder Willows leaves in fall!" and she couldn't help from trying to look at the Wonder Willow leaves, but for the first time in as long as she could remember, she wasn't able to borrow the power of the Wonder Willow.
Most people would never be lucky enough to see the Wonder Willow from the outside perspective in their entire life, because unlike one would expect after entering it, or even just hearing about the Wonder Willow, the tree itself was only around six inches tall, well, six inches off the ground that is, which allows them to keep it very safe and in a convenient location.
The only problem, if you can even count it as such, is that it's nearly impossible to get to see it in said location.
Well, unless you're the owner and can borrow the Wonder Willows Spiritual Sense to see everything it does, inside and out.
And up until this moment, the owner had always been Ava.
Controlling the Wonder Willow Spiritual Sense and other powers had become as natural as breathing for Ava, so taking it away from her spontaneously made her feel like she'd lost an arm.
Wendy look at Hazed doubtfully and asked, "Are you sure she's my mommy? She doesn't smell like mommy…."
Hazed booped her nose and said sternly, "Hmm? Let me tell you this! Whatever she smells like, is exactly what your Mother smells like! Now let's go and make us a happy family."
Seeing Wendy indignant and frustrated, Hazed added, "Your Mother put her heart and soul into raising you, if it wasn't for her kindness you could've never been born, so don't be ungrateful, or else I might end up sleeping on the couch tonight!"
Ava watched this interaction and her goodwill towards Hazed was repeatedly going, 'Ding! +1', well at least metaphorically.
Even if she didn't get his 'normal person' humor.
He could've easily robbed every person in the Wonder Willow, or if he wanted to be sneaky he could've just robbed the treasury, or even if he didn't want to be a 'bad guy' he could've at least made demands; bargained.
But he did none of that.
Instead, the first thing he did was teach the impressionable young Spirit that she was the mother.
When she thought about her being the Mommy and Hazed being the Daddy she couldn't help herself from blushing and surprisingly she became rather hot.
She tried to convince herself that it was just her gratitude showing itself in a rather unique way, however she wasn't able to delusion herself for long because her mind wondered to a wild daydream that seemed like more like a flashback to a memory she couldn't possibly have.

While Ava was distracted Wendy had flown up to her, ready to make the connection.
"Don't worry, Daddy is here to help this time!" Hazed reassured her. Since they were adding her onto their already established connection instead of creating a new one, Hazed had a large amount of influence over the process.
Wendy eased up a bunch, she had complete faith that her 'Daddy Mommy' could do anything. She'd never seen otherwise! At least not yet!
Then Wendy began to glow, and Ava, just like Hazed did previously, began to feel her soul burn.
The pain was dull and seemed manageable, but just when she was about to let her guard down, she heard Hazed call out,
"Be careful!"
Ava braced herself for the pain.
Then the pain surged and became strong enough to sear her soul, she winced and fell out of her chair.
Both their bodies radiated a sorta power and Hazed could feel a tangible connection to both of them now.
On top of that he could feel a Chromatic Cloud forcefully trying to form out of his mark, it seems that the autonomous laws of The Heavens apply even to his mark. Which is probably a good thing to know.
It didn't take much effort to subdue the Mark from creating a Mini Chromatic Cloud and drawing attention.
He was unbelievably happy that the Chromatic Cloud that was created from him receiving the mark was from the timeline of his first reincarnation so no one should've seen it, or at least remembered it in this life. Not that he was positive.
After all he'd only reincarnated for a few minutes the first time, and he didn't know if it was truly considered a second reincarnation when he came back with Luna.
One thing he regretted was not asking Blue if he should expect others to retain their memories.
~I thought it last time too, but it's still shocking how amazing Wendy's Connection ability is. She's seemed to somehow bound the three of your souls together, and if you look closely within your Heart Dantian, the Dantian of the Soul you'll be able to see a small seed planted in both of you.~
Hazed used his Spiritual Sense to peer into his Third Dantian, and low and behold a small black seed that was ripple golden energy was floating amidst his massive and unrefined Spiritual Presence.
Up until now although he didn't cultivate any Spiritual Presence Techniques to gather Spiritual Presence, neither did he have any Techniques that Refined it or used it efficiently.
Currently, his only use was to refine it into his Spiritual Sense, but without a proper technique that process was arduous and Luna said that there'd definitely be a proper technique within the Celestial Tiger Cultivation Method, but since he hasn't even officially connected to the method, and has only been borrowing Luna's powers when needed, he has no clue what's in the Method or when he might receive the much-needed technique.
Still, he learned not to use his Spiritual Presence to kill unless it was an absolute emergency.
The truth was that while it didn't require a decent Cultivation Environment or Resources to replenish his Spiritual Presence, he still needed to be in top condition to replenish it quickly, especially when he's so weak right now.
And top condition means a decent Cultivation Environment or Resources… Something he just didn't have right now.

When Ava awoke she looked at Hazed in disbelief, desperately fighting off tears from entering her eyes.
'Was all of that real? Did I really marry this man, and even die in his arms?'
Her thoughts ran circles around the memories of the past life that she'd just acquired.
She didn't know if it was even real, or if it was did he also have his memories?
Wendy's exhausted body floated into Hazed, falling halfway there and forcing him to dive out to catch her.
"Daddy! I did it! Look, Mommy!" She pointed to Ava with the same proud look on her face as last time, the only difference being that this time she was a hundred times more exhausted.
He immediately panicked, did he ask her to do something beyond her capabilities?!
"Are you ok Wendy?"
"Mm, I just need to rest… sorry Daddy, but Mommy's house is nicer!"
And after saying as much she disappeared, he felt like he was holding some bubble text that read, 'Poof'
~She entered the seed within Ava I believe.~
"Ava, is Wendy within your Heart Dantian?" Hazed asked with a hint of worry in his voice.
After a moment she replied cautiously, "Mm… she is…"
"I'm glad she's ok! That seemed to take a lot out of her."
Hazed noticed the difference in the way that Ava looked at him, but how could he not when she made it so obvious?
Still, he didn't plan on saying anything to her, at least not first.
Instead, he just grinned and asked, "How about you join my Sect now?"
