Chapter 8: The Appointment Part 2

"These ones make you look sophisticated. They are very elegant Gio."

I was too happy to have been able to see that I didn't bother saying anything to him.

"How'd you get them so soon?"I smiled.

"I have a reputation."I could see Cullen's smile from the mirror I was staring into.

I was less than thrilled to hear that. I rolled my eyes. My smile fading away.

"Gio."Cullen said softly stepping closer to me.

"Hmm."I was kind of preoccupied soaking in what had happened the last week to really think straight.

"Cullen."I said just as softly, turning around looking up at him.

He looked own at me hopefully with a small smile.

"Thank you."my smile grew brighter.

"I'm hungry Cullen."I sulked, staring out the glass window of the charcoal gray Rolls-Royce.

"We'll stop somewhere."Cullen said his eyes focused on the road.

"I hate you."I said lowly.

I heard him give a painful sigh.

"I would do anything for you Gio."His voice cracked.

"Then let me go."I clinched my jaw.

"I can't. I can't do that."He inhaled, he was starting to get annoyed.

"And why the hell not?! Oh wait, because you looovvve me."I mocked, whipping my head towards him.

He ignored me.

"Oh so it's like that."I glared at him hatefully.

"It's exactly like that. Now tell me where you want to eat then shut up."he said in an icy tone.

"McDonald's."I answered just as coldly.

"I'm not taking you there. That shit is poison."

"Then why'd you fucking as me Cullen."I crossed my arms, planting my head on the window. I was childish for pouting but I was and have been done with his bullshit.

"Longhorn Steakhouse?"He perked up.

"That bitch is too expensive."

He huffed in response.

"Fine whatever. Do you what will."I huffed back, pulling my knees up to my chest, the seat belt dig into my skin, but I didn't care.

"I'm going to escape one day."I murmured to myself.
