S4 Episode 9- Last breaths:

I was at the door. If I opened the handle, that was it, there was less than a 50% chance that I'd make it back out alive.

I shivered at the thought of what it could be, you wouldn't imagine what I thought.

Taking a deep breath in, I finally opened the door. Taking steps inside, I swiftly turned my head from left to right until I looked down at my bed. To the right of my eye, a bat caught my eye. And for the first time in my life, I was so grateful that I chose baseball as a sport.

I reached over to it, holding it tightly within my two fragile hands.

"Come out," I said coldly without fear.

But I got no answer, only a small giggle.

That's when I knew for sure someone was here with me.

I wasn't alone.

I ducked down, taking a deep breath in as I looked under my bed.

Then...

I saw it.

Its crocodile green skin oozing on the wooden floor, leaving stains as its slit-shaped eyes stared at me. Its crooked teeth escaping from its wide revolting smile. Not any other moment in my life made me feel as disgusted as I felt right now. I gulped, swallowing my puke right back to where it came from; my heart was dying to explode from my chest, what is that?.

Words couldn't describe how I felt. I pushed myself away from my bed trembling, not being able to function properly. I slouched my palms against the wall, getting up slowly until I felt a sudden clasp on my ankle, the sickening hands which were wrapped around me, got tighter and tighter within seconds.

My breath didn't allow me to scream nor shout. I couldn't even breathe right. It was as though I was being poisoned with every touch. I could only make out a small squeal, which in my case, wasn't helpful. "D-dad..." I croaked, my voice struggling to defeat the claustrophobic air which suffocated me.

I knew these were my last thoughts. My last breaths. It was all down to this very moment.
