Chapter 10

I almost caught a sleep,

when I heard the sound of walking outside my room. It was visible from under the door that someone was walking outside. with heavy foot steps, the voice ecoed in the entire room it gave me heart ache.

I got up from my bed and walked towards the door, I hold the door nob and turned it slowly with pounding heart to open the door. but Nobody was there, I came inside and closed the door behind.

I Was walking towards the bed, i shuffled my bed sheet. i was about to get on the bed when there was a knock on my door, i freeze there because i wasn't expecting anyone at this time. when i reached near the door, somebody knocked loudly and ran laughing. I was scared to death.

I rushed outside my room to check, again nobody was there. I was fed up of this hide and seek,.

I screamed,"Elliott is that you?". But there was no reply, that's when I realized Elliott is not at home. thinking who's that could be I turned behind and then I was freeze, my jaw touched the ground, my eye's where torn and I couldn't believe my eyes.

There where footprints on the wall every where, it seems like somebody was walking on the walls, as well as on my bedroom's door. That's when I realized, that wasn't knocking voice it was sound of running on my door and the most scariest thing was the fact that humans cant walk on the wall. I prepared myself to face this.

I looked closely to the foot steps, I gathered all my strength and followed those footprints. I had no Idea what I was doing, i just wanted to know the truth, I kept walking and following the steps and end up at attic. Those footprints enter attic.

This time the door wasn't locked. the door was open and creaking, I pushed the door slightly to open it, I slowly pushed the door and peeped inside. i had no idea what was going to happen, whats there inside. I peeped inside, there was a small amount of light in the room because of the slightly open door, rest of the room was dark.

i opened the door and got inside, the room lit up with the dim light coming out of the room. i walked inside with shivering legs and baby steps. I looked around and notice that There was a woman sitting in the corner of the room, who had a doll in her lap.

The woman was calling that doll Anna, she was looking at that doll as if she was not a doll but a human being, she was pampering her and talking to her like a child. Suddenly she started crying and groaning.

"who are you, and what do you want", I snapped.

"I want your soul", she replied instantly and then,

She stood up and turned back suddenly, that doll fall from her laps to the floor. when I look at her I realised she isn't a human i was sure, Her face was so scary and covered in blood with deep wounds on her face. she picked up that doll from the ground in her hand, But this time , there was no doll in her hand, it was the badly rotten dead body of a girl child in her hand, who was exactly looking like that doll. she kissed her forehead.

I couldn't took off my eyes from her, she came closer to me she was groaning. I tried to escape and banged my hands on the door. I screamed "mom, help me. mom help me", I was screaming. she chocked my neck and said " he took my daughter, he will take you" she said and grind

"Stop please", I cried in pain. her grip was getting tighter. I was about to lose my breath, my vision was getting blur. i was losing my breath,

when i woke up my face was covered with the bed sheet. that when i realized i was dreaming it was again a scary nightmare.

I felt that, I already knew this women. but I was not able to remember where i saw her. I glanced at the watch. it was 9 am, freak I'm damn late for the school today.
