Chapter 11

I screamed, "Mom can you please help me, I'm damn late for the school today" I said and jumped out from the bed

Mom came to my room, stood near my closet and said, "you are not going anywhere, I have already informed your class teacher that your sick, yesterday night I came to your room, Your body temperature was so high, to inform your class teacher you won't Abel to attend school today'

"last night you came to my room", I asked.

yes I came to your room, I was about to sleep when I heard someone crying. I came out of my room, I was walking through the corridor, I felt like the sound of crying coming from your room. I ran to your room to check, but there was no sound means no sound of crying or anything" she said

"but I don't remember anything, did I really called you" I asked

maybe, its that was my delusion, because I haven't slept properly since we came here" she said

so that means it wasn't the dream",

I wispered to myself and again asked mom, "do you heard anything else mom".

"No, I didn't hear anything other than that. Just after that, as soon as I laid my hand on your head, I realized that your body is too much taxed", she replied

I was in a shock and I was really scared. because these things has started hurting me now. I need to know the truth before it's too late. I will ask mom for the keys of attic. I need to see what's inside there...

After 20 mins,

I went down to the kitchen, sat on the chair and asked mom for the breakfast. she served me pancake filled with raspberry jam and cup of Hot chocolate. I thanked her and started eating,

when I was done with my breakfast I kept my plate in the sink and while washing my hands I slightly turned towards mom and asked her, " mom, can you please give me key's of the attic".

surprisingly she asked me , "why do you need the keys for attic".

"actually I want to make it my, work place for my project's, I have to do so many project, I need a seperate room for it. I will clean it and put some furniture from store". I replied.

"ok, nobody wants that place, you can take it, but I don't know where's the keys, you can check from the bunch of the key's from my closet", mom said.

I nodded and said , "ok, I will look for it".

"but not now, you take rest, go to your room, rest untill you get better, understand otherwise you're not getting any room", she demanded.

I Agreed to her, as I didn't had any option.

I was not having patience at all. I could not resist my self from wondering, what's in that room. I went out of my room slowly without manking any sounds. I slowly closed the door of my room and started walking towards the mother's room. as I entered her room, I quickly tried to find the keys. As soon as I opened the door of her wardrobe, the keys were kept in front. I quickly picked up the keys in my hand and exited her room.

then I rushed towards Attic, I looked behind to see if mom is there or not. as soon as I reached attic, I sat on my knees and peeped inside through key hole, but I couldn't see anything clearly due to dust. I blowed into the key hole as I was so excited to see what's behind this door.

I chosed largest key from the bunch and insert it into the hole, I tried to open but I failed, then I tried the smallest one, but the key size was so small. I tried every singel key from that bunch, in the hope that this door will open, but I failed. I pushed and pulled the door nob to opened the door. I even tried to pushed the door without making any voice, but I failed.

I got frustated, I lost my control I kicked the door and yelled damn it, why don't you open... my voice ecoed around the room and then

she replied, "he won't let you get in".

my body frezzed like an ice and still drop of sweat slide down from my neck to my back line.

"who's there, tell me who are you", I wispered.

"I'm your shadow", she replied.

"what my shadow, who are you, why dont you leave me alone" , I asked.

then I Heard foot steps. "o my god mom", I said and rushed to my room, I hide those key's under my pillow and acted like I'm resting.

mom entered my room and said, "did you heard something"

"No, I didn't. why?" , I responded.

"nothing I thought I heard something, forget it, actually Ally I'm going out for some work, I will be back soon, I have made your lunch and The medicine is on the table, if you'll need anything just call me ok" , she said laid her hand on my shoulders.

"ok mom", that's all I said

I walked her till the door, then she left. I locked the door, and laid on the couch in the living room, I was alone in this huge mansion. I had golden chance, to do anything. I was continuesly staring at the candelier. when I heard a voice as if something falled. that voice ecoed the whole mansion. I got shocked, I got up and followed the voice,

I opened the room...
