Zane Black, the illegitimate child of an elite family received a diary from his future self. The diary not only detailed his fall into obsession and obscurity, but it also contained a set of requests and regrets.

Incidentally, he begins his life as a member of the Gnosis society, the Universe's largest intelligence gathering organisation, gaining an edge that he never had before. But an edge is not the only thing that he would gain, family, friendships and dare he say it... Love. 

The problem in his otherwise wonderful life ... Keeping his huge secret from his protagonist brother who seemed to have huge secrets of his own and more importantly, his lover whose genius was emphasized in the diary nine times. Zane must learn to be smart, discreet and elusive. After all, the worst fate of a spy is to be caught.

The Elusive Book Keeper

Finding the Lycan Lair was easier than Zane had expected. Sylvia returned fifteen minutes later and led the way through the forest. Aria continued to drop red flags whenever they passed, until they arrived at a cave that was hidden by tall veins. They entered inside; it was scarcely lit.

Immediately, the small communication device in their ears all beeped, and Aria's clear voice sounded in Zane's ear: "Commencing the First Quest, the Lycan's Liar. Can everyone hear me? Reply 'Clear' so I could be sure that everyone is connected properly."

"Clear!" The various voices sounded in the channel. Zane had always had the system talking in his head, so he was used to it.

"Seven meters ahead. Three ordinary wolves. Level 2. HP 300," Sylvia's playful voice announced. She must have gone up ahead to scout.
