Zane Black, the illegitimate child of an elite family received a diary from his future self. The diary not only detailed his fall into obsession and obscurity, but it also contained a set of requests and regrets.

Professor Parker smiled even wider, "So you have not had any private teacher. I might not be the best Alchemist in this college but I am definitely one of the top ten. If you are under my tutelage, I promise your path would be even brighter, Zane, become my disciple."

"I? Really, professor?" Zane said with the biggest smile on his face. He looked like the news was even more precious than getting extremely insightful in his paper. Professor Parker rubbed his stomach, "Of course, I believe with proper guidance, you would achieve many great deeds in the field of alchemy."Zane smiled widely and then his smile fell, "I am sorry, I forgot, I am not allowed to accept masters or personal teachers without the approval of the family. I would write to my father immediately after he gets back from the dungeon, I think he would agree." Professor Parker was confused, "Your father?"

Zane nodded a little more slowly, "Andre Valois."
