I bowed respectfully to the emperor who sat on his throne wearing golden robes befitting his status. The man in front of me was Liu Qing's father.

"Rise my son. You have done well in the battle."

I stood up and straightened my back. Hauria had reminded me that as a prince, Liu Qing had to be always dignified. And as a proxy, I should as well.

"Tell me what happened during the battle." the emperor ordered.

I immediately reported the events during the battle in the southern borders more than a week ago. Of course, since I wasn't really there, Shen Yu and Hauria had to tutor me about what happened and the important points I shouldn't forget especially when reporting to the emperor.

"…I believe the invaders in the south will not be making any moves soon father." I said as I ended my report.
