Getting challenged to a duel out of nowhere was the least of my problems, but a surprise attack was quite another.

After Hong Yan Fei's declaration of his intentions, he suddenly lunged at me. I had no other choice but to summon Advos and block his strike. He suddenly turned and slashed my left side, so I had to adjust my blade as well and parried it. He kept swinging at me for reasons I wasn't even aware of, so I had no other choice but to fight back of course.

I was so focused on the fight that I didn't even notice my surroundings. Hong Yan Fei kept coming at me and I could only either dodge or parry his attack. All of a sudden, he swung at me with a much stronger force that I let go of Advos. His attack really surprised me plus I was still recovering from using my powers, so it was unavoidable.

Like some sort of respect, he put his sword down and came at me using hand-to-hand combat.
