Hauria spread the map of Zhou County on the table. She started marking the villages where the massacres happened.

"What do you guys see?" she asked us.

I looked at my companions with a confused look, but everyone mirrored my expression. Hauria groaned at this action. She definitely did not appreciate it.

"Oh come on! Okay, listen to me. All the villages are either located at the foot of Mt. Tianning or just near it."

"Okay? What does that have to do with human sacrifices?" I asked.

"Think of it like this. We were wondering why the villages were massacred a week apart right?" we all nodded. "And why those specific villages? I felt it when we were inside the villages, but I wasn't sure. But now I am."

"The villages are all located on a ley line." Dean said as if he just realized it.

"Exactly! And these villages surround Mt. Tianning!"
