I hugged Lei tightly. I felt like crying but I knew I had to be tough and stopped my tears from falling.

"I'll be fine." he told me, obviously trying to reassure me. "Just tell them I have to stay in here for a few days."

Lei decided to stay inside the void for a few days to gain control over the power of the Knight of Void that was sleeping with him. Of course it involved waking up the chained knight and confronting him. As much as I didn't want him to do it alone, both he and Xiena pressed on that he should do it alone, and that I had a job to do outside as well. I had to give my agreement.

"You better succeed." I said in a threatening voice.

"You have to return to me. Promise me that please." I said again. "I don't want to lose anyone."
