We appeared a few feet from where Seven and the others were battling members of the Sect. Civilians were screaming and running around, and it didn't help that random explosions would suddenly go off. The situation in front of us was like a scene out from a movie about terrorist attacks. But instead of guns and bombs the actors were fighting with swords and had special abilities.

"I thought we were prioritizing the evacuation of the civilians?" I asked Artemis as Tim and the Wang twins made their way to join the fray.

"I know. Seven and the others did that. It's already out of our control if they don't believe us and decide to run around." Artemis retorted and kicked an incoming enemy. At the same time, I made a slashing arc and managed to hit three enemies that were coming from behind me.

Ever since awakening my abilities as the Knight of Void, my senses had been sharper, so I could sense any incoming presence.
