Chapter 25: A Grade 1 Ingredient

Gui Ye announced "please enter the dimensional gate and feel free to choose any ingredients in our storage place. After choosing, you may enter your designated practice room to conjure up your desired pill there. The time limit is three hours, so you better start moving now!"

With that announcement, all of the participants entered the dimension gates. The dimensional gate acts as a barrier to ensure that all the participants could not carry any of their own ingredients in and render all storage rings useless.

As soon as they entered, the dimensional gates closed, and a big dimensional screen was projected. Every participant's movement was reflected on the big dimension screen until they entered the practice room. This is because the conjuring techniques of each alchemist are their lifeline and their techniques are secrets that no outsiders can learn.

Inside the storage room, there were countless rare ingredients, a paradise for the alchemists. It is no wonder all the participants were excitedly scouting for the best ingredients and grabbing the rarest ingredients.

He walked slowly and he walked past a shelve of extremely common ingredients. It mainly consisted of lowest grade ingredients. He took a few of those grade 1 ingredients and walked off to the practice room.

Everyone in the alchemist hall was stunned and starting to laugh.

"Du Wu, I know that you have not won this contest for 13 years but you shouldn't have sent in a rookie to give up" a voice was heard coming from the opposite direction. The voice belongs to the Yu clan's sect leader from Ri Le City.

The Yu Clan has been winning the tournament in recent years and has been the hot favorites to win this year again.

Suddenly, a roar of activity could be heard again, pulling all the attention to the back to the screens. It was Yu Lin, the master alchemist from the Yu clan who had selected the bone of the Ice Ogre. It was a grade three ingredient.

A grade three pill would also require several same- grade (Grade 3) ingredients to be made. Within the grade level of a pill, there is a difference between low, medium, and high. The bone of the Ice Orge was to conjure up a high Grade 3 "Endless winter "pill.

The "Endless Winter" pill can allow those who consume it to endure the harsh winter and increase the user's magic resistance to 30% to a multitude of ice spells. It is no doubt a rare pill that anyone would covet and even fight over for.

If the Yu clan participant managed to pull it off, they would no doubt be the winner for this contest.
