The Enlightenment [2]

"Honey, we shouldn't have accepted the darn driver. These people won't stop bugging us" Mrs. James said to her husband who was just as worried. They had been forced to get the driver, but they had to accept him, no questions asked.

"We have no option love. You know if we don't let them give us someone, they will come here themselves and we dint want that. Our kids are still too young to be exposed to this. Let's just accept it, we have no option anyways" James told his wife.

He was trying to convince her that everything would be okay, but even he knew nothing would ever be okay. The moment they had made that choice in the operation room, they knew nothing would ever be the same.

They knew they would pay the price and they knew they had to do whatever it would take for their kids to be safe. Their girls needed to feel they were safe because that was the only way.
