The Enlightenment [3]

She wanted to know the truth, and if they weren't going to tell it to her, she was going to do that on her own. Being a medical student, she knew that drugs were harsh and not necessary, but if she wanted to fit in, she needed to be rebellious.

It helped that she was almost sixteen, which meant they would easily associate her rebellion with her age.

She didn't care what anyone thought of her, as long as she got answers. As long as she got to the person who was wielding so much power over her family. She made sure her rebellion was noticed, both in class and outside of class.

Both in the house ad on the streets.

Her rebellion obviously caught the attention of Ronaldo, because he approached her and told her he would be able to get Jia some good drug deals. Turns out the good driver was not really a  good driver.
