The Enlightenment [4]

There was nothing to be saved. So she resolved to die. When the car was destroyed in the accident, she hoped that throwing a young amelia and jenny out of a running car didn't do as much damage. She hoped they were safe.

If this was her last breath, then she would be proud she saved at least two of them. After the impact, it would only take a little while before they blew up, but she was willing to try. She would save her parents too, even though she was hoping her siblings were safe.

So when she got out and got the tiny window of opportunity to save her parents, she was interrupted by a voice she knew so well. The voice that had been taunting and haunting her. The voice that was making fun of her for being a junkie. But what he didn't know was that Jillian James was never a junkie.
