Chapter Nine And in the end

"Everyone," I said. "Just wait" trying to catch my breath. "What happened?" Sarah asked. "One moment," I said "Jessica wasn't supposed to be with us. She was took by Vito,"I continued "Nothing makes sense," sitting down. "Calm down Jake," Sarah said. "No," I shouted "Something is wrong," in a dillema. "Jake," Sam said "You will attract Vito's men," trying to calm me down. I tried to concentrate, harder and saw the truth. Vito was feeding me with a deception when I tried to alter the reality. I found myself back on route 277. "We can't go," I said. "Reality altering cannot be done if the vito is using the sphere," I heard a voice. "Jess" Lucas shouted racing to her. But I wasn't sure about this. What if Vito was giving me another deception. I wanted to make sure. "Jake," Jessica said "Vito wants us to come to the temple," showing a car parked at a distance.

I tried to use my power but the sphere was resisting it. Men came out of the car. The road was cleared. "I think Vito is here," I said as the traffic vanished in a split second. "We come in peace" said a man. "Vito," Lucas said recognizing the voice. "What do you want from us?" I shouted. "Something that i want to make sure that you wont trouble me again," vito said getting closer. "You want us dead!" Sam shouted. "No!" Vito said "I'll let this girl and that cahtter-box," and Lucas interrupted saying "You want us to come with you" in a sort of funny way. "Ah! You haven't lost your weird humor, Lucas" Vito said. "Why do you need us?" I shouted "or is it that you want us dead?" walking forward. "Oh!" he said "Don't act like you didn't knew what was happeneing?" alking around. "The temple Jake, I need you to open the temple for me" he continued "Then I'll consider about leaving the rest" walking back. "Ther's no way I can trust you" I said. "Oh! But you have to" he shouted back sitting in his car. I thought I was out of chances, but this was the best chance for me to get close to him before he starts the sacrifice. "Ok" I said "But you have to leave them first" walking to the car. "No, they will come with us" Vito said "What if you stab in my back?" acting funny.

We went to the temple, but looked more like a mountain. "Go on Mr. Protector, open it" Vito said. "How?" I asked. "What do you mean by how?" Vito shouted "Open the godamn door" threating to kill Sam. I litrally didn't know about any of this stuff, and I said the same thing to him. I just didn't know what to do. Who thought that my life would be so short? "What if the mountain a deception?" I asked myself. I immediately told him to sense any deceptions uing sphere. He hesitated but did it. The mountain was a deception for everyone. We saw the door. It was a simple one, you just have to push the door. We were in the temple. Vito left them as promised. He went to the arena where the sacrifice is to be done. The pictures around the temple showed that he has leave the sphere in middle of sacrifice. I have a thin chance, to stop him. The ritual has begun. He was in the middle of the ritual and I immediately took the chance and fed the men with deception. I kicked Vito out an fed him one, that he is still continuing the ritual. I found myself in the ritual. There was no way left except to sacrifice myself. Every story has to end someday in some way. But mine is short and a worst ending. I had to die to save the rest. I planned to hide the sphere where no one could ever find.
