Survival (3)

George glanced at the two beasts charging at him through the gaps of his rastas that hung down his face. He picked up the hairband from the sand, tying up most of his rastas to a ponytail while the beast only a few seconds away from him.

The Flux inside him reacted when he decided to go all out, beginning to flow faster through his body.

Thick veins began popp out all over his body before he stepped hard on the sand.

The two charging beasts saw him kick up a sand screen that blocked their view for a few seconds. Those seconds were all George needed to regain some control over the fight, now that he realized that he would surely die if he stayed passive.

The two beasts charged through the sand screen and stopped when they didn't see George.

His figure appeared beside the tiger-rhino, smashing his knee against its head. It howled in pain, alarming the bat-faced ape which leaped towards him with its massive fist above its head.

His two loose rastas hanging down his face moved in the air when he retreated backwards to avoid the destructive attack of the ape. The area trembled when the two massive fits of the ape smashed down on the spot George stood two seconds before.

A huge cloud of sand was kicked up and Lewis crossed his arms when a shockwave hit him that sent him flying.

The ape bursted out from the sand to him, punching out.

George's eyes widened, 'I can't...'

The massive fist connected with his side and George felt all the air in his lungs escape. The pain spread instantly through his body while he blasted away.

He slammed over 40 meters on the sand like a rubber ball...

What George didn't know was that he was being watched since the moment he arrived on Pangea. Three strange beings were hidden in the space above the sky while looking down at him.

"Is this it? I expected more from him, but I seem to have overestimated this mortal..." Commented the blue colored humanoid figure that was floating on the right with contempt.

"He only arrived today in Pangea...This mortal doesn't seem to have grasped his abilities yet...The trial is too much for his current self...." Spoke the yellow colored humanoid figure floating on the left with a neutral tone.

The two of them looked over at the third humanoid figure hovering in front of them in the middle.

The torch-like eyes of the red colored humanoid figure were fixated on George, "..."

The two other figures exchanged gazes, silently agreeing to stay quiet until it was over...

'The sky is so blue...' Thought George absent minded for a moment.

The warm iron like taste that rushed into his mouth brought him back from his shock.

He coughed blood on the white sand, slowly standing up while holding his left ribs.

'That son of a b*tch broke my ribs...That ape will kill me if I don't come up with something...' Thought George, he tried to summon his dragons but it was the same as before, blocked.

'I wouldn't be in this situation if I could use my [Summon] skill...' Lamented George for a second before an evil smile spread across his face.

The ape was already rushing towards him with great momentum while roaring...

George had difficulties breathing normally but his smile grew wider as the ape closed in to him.

He aimed his left palm straight at the incoming ape...

'[Toxic Dragonfire]'

Part of the Flux gathered in his left arm was drained dry when a stream of green flames was shot out from his palm.

The ape saw the stream of green flames heading its way but ignored it, crossing its arms while rushed right through it.

Its six with blood lust filled eyes were only fixated on its prey in front of it but then its six blood-red eyes widened.

A with a pain filled roar echoed through the desert.

George sighed in delight when he saw the ape being engulfed by the green flames. It began to roll around on the sand, trying to get rid of the green flames with no success.

George's gaze changed when he observed what was happening to the ape. Its black fur was burned away and its skin had started to melt quickly under the green flames.

It roared its pain while rolling around, its expression filled with horror...

"Isn't that Toxic Dragonfire?" Exclaimed the blue figure surprised.

"It's not that surprising considering that he has a Plague Dragon as one of his summons." Stated the yellow figure like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"..." The red figure hovering in the middle stayed silent...

George stared with shock at the dying ape that had already stopped to move. The green flames had already corroded away half of its body, revealing the bones beneath the muscles...

'The Toxic Dragonfire is way too scary for my taste but it works for me...' Thought George while watching the green flames finally die out after corroding the bat-faced ape to death.

Only the bones were left within a pool of green colored sticky fluid. His left side hurt even more when he sucked in a lot of air.

His attention was drawn towards the tiger-rhino charging at him like a mad bull.

He shook his head, the tiger-rhino was too dumb, it had just witnessed its fellow beast die but it didn't care at all, keeping attacking.

George lifted his left hand, shooting out another stream of green flames towards the charging tiger-rhino.

'[Toxic Dragonfire]'

The same thing happened to the tiger-rhino which collapsed right in front of him like the rhino from the movie 300...

'Two times using [Toxic Dragonfire] has used up around 3/10 of my Flux...I was an idiot to not think of using the skills that I gained from my dragons...'

He looked at the three corpses around him, 'If I'm right then it is highly possible that...'

George had not ended his thought when three heads popped out from the white sand beneath him.

"F*ck, I knew it!"

The yellow figure hovering in space had now a serious expression, "He managed to survive, but this is only the beginning!"

"He is lucky that he is only a Starter Tier Summoner, the chimeras created from our trial are restricted because of that. He wouldn't even have survived the first round if he was at the King Tier!" Said the blue figure arrogantly.

The red colored figure that had been silent until now spoke for the first time, "The master of a Sin Enticing Dragon can't be a normal being himself..."

"Big brother, is it true that there are only two kind of people who can become the master of such a dreadful existence as the Sin Enticing Dragon?" Asked the blue figure whose arrogant tone had changed into worship the moment he addressed to the red figure.

The yellow figure also looked at the red humanoid figure with reverence.

"Yes it is true, only two kinds of people that can tame a Sin Enticing Dragon. A person of pure heart which is very difficult to find through the whole universe. Sin Enticing Dragons feel strangely drawn to their polar opposite nature. The second is a person whose sin can be said to have reached a certain extreme point which is also uncommon..." Explained the red figure with a deep archaic voice that caused the space around them to quake.

"Big brother, this mortal isn't of pure heart but I can't feel any kind of extreme sin in him..." Spoke the yellow figure unsure how that is possible.

"Indeed, I'm the same." Agreed the blue figure.

The torch-like eyes from the red figure stared intensely at Lewis who was fighting against the three beast, "He isn't of pure heart and also doesn't show an extreme form of a sin...Sins can be simple or complicated. Regardless of what sin in him is extreme...It makes him a good candidate so far...Or do you two want to wait for another hundred million years until someone better finds their way to us?"

"..."

"..."

The two others looked at each other in dismay, he was right, they didn't want to wait for another hundred million years...
