True Inheritor

George threw the bone away after finishing biting the last piece of meat from it.

He started to breath slowly while his face became distorted by pain. He was sitting bare chested on a corpse of a 10 meters tall beast that looked similar to a minotaur. Many scars could be seen all over his sweat covered body as he was only wearing some regs that were once his jogging pants. Even his shoes were destroyed after all the fights he went through.

He had long time ago lost his feeling of time as the white desert didn't have a day and night cycle. He looked around himself with a dull look in his eyes while, suppressing the pain he was experiencing every second.

Wherever his gaze moved, all he saw was corpses from all kinds of beasts. The once white desert had turned into a blood desert after all the carnage he went through. From some corpses were only the bones left with a green sticky fluid beneath them but most of the corpses had missing limbs or crushed skulls...

'I thought that the beasts were nasty as they keep spawning more no matter how often I kill them...But the real terror of this place aren't the beasts but those 7 suns looming over me...' Cursed George.

He didn't really remember when he noticed that the anomaly started but he noticed it. The temperature rose every time he killed another wave a little bit. It took him some time but that discovery turned out to be his sole nightmare.

The temperature in the white desert has reached such a high degree that some beasts immediately caught fire right after appearing. The air was so dry and hot that it hurt his lungs every single time he took a breath. It was pure torture...

What George didn't know was that his body went through some changes after such a long time and that he himself had started generating heat on his own...

"He pulled it off! I approve of him!" Spoke the blue figure hidden inside the space above the sky with a relieved smile.

The yellow figure nodded, "He is the seventh to pass the trial, he wasn't the fastest but his improvements are still remarkable, considering he was a only a greenhorn with no experience when he arrived in Pangea. I approve of him, the only question left is if we make him a Semi-Inheritor or a True Inheritor..."

Both of them looked at the red figure who closed his eyes for the first time in a long time.

"He will be a True Inheritor." Decided the red figure who lifted his hand to stop the two others to question him, "I know that we only have three spots left, but he has shown enough potential. I only want to see it for the last time before beginning with the inheritance." Spoke the red figure before he reopened his torch like eyes that seemed to drill themselves into George...

An earthquake erupted from the white desert, making George sigh. His dark pupils vanished, leaving his eyes completely white.

An incredibly high number of beasts jumped out from beneath the sand, all of them staring at the same direction while some roared savagely.

George ignored all the bloodlust and killing intent directed at him, he had long grown used to it. He grabbed his long rastas blocking his view, pushing them back.

'[Eyes of Sin]'

A black spiral emerged in the middle of his white eyes, slowly starting to spin.

The way he saw the countless beasts surrounding him changed the moment he used his skill [Eyes of Sin]. Their bodies in his vision turned ink black, it was like their bodies were filled with a thick darkness. George was already used to it, he focused on their heads where their brain was. Their heads were the only part of their bodies that wasn't black, they had different colors flowing inside them. What all the beasts had in common was that the red color inside their brain dominated over the other colors.

George used up half of his Flux to stir up the red color inside their heads, causing it to rampage and engulf all the other colors inside their brain.

Something strange happened the moment George used his [Eyes of Sin]. The already red eyes of all the beast in his vision lit up with even more madness and bloodlust. They turned around, and started to attack anything near them.

Hell broke loose when thousands of beasts began to tear each other apart in their endless rage.

George smiled when he saw the violent bloodbath unfolding right in front of him. He had never thought how incredible the skill [Eyes of Sin] would be when he first tried it out. But it quickly became his trump card to deal with a large amount of beasts. The skill was taxing as it used up half of his Flux everytime he used it, but it was worth it. Uriel's importance rose in his mind. The [Eyes of Sin] made him able to manipulate the sins inside other beings. The beasts were already dominated by wraith but not enough, they were still able to direct all their wraith towards him. George overturned that thanks to [Eyes of Sin]. He manipulated the wraith inside them to devour their remaining sanity, thus making them all go even further berserk and starting to kill each other...

He heard the sound of wind blasting beside him and lifted his hand.

'[Inferno Scales]'

A booming sound caused shockwaves when a massive fist collided with his palm. His rastas were blown violently to the side but George wasn't fazed at all. Two horns grew out on top of his forehead as thick black scales covered most of his body.

The muscles on his arm bulged when he pushed the fist away, sending the over 8 meters tall cyclops flying.

This was the skill he got, [Inferno Scales] from the Inferno Dragon he catched first. The Inferno Dragon had long ago made a full recovery after being healed by his Astral Star inside his Astral Space. It went rampage when it first woke up but Uriel and Hybris thrashed it until it became an obedient puppy.

The [Inferno Scales] skill became available to him right after it woke up, his connection to it also deepened. George named it Hades, his three dragons had grown much stronger after absorbing the Flux that his Astral Star provided.

'The heat feels pleasant while I'm using [Inferno Scales], a pity that It uses too much Flux to have it permanently activated...I have to kill as many possible...Half of them will take care of each other until [Eyes of Sin] will looses its effect in 20 minutes...'

He stood up from the corpse, turning around to face the waves of beasts rushing towards him.

'[Toxic Dragonfire]'

Green flames erupted from his arms, which he quickly controlled to only burn on his hands that had transformed into claws after using [Inferno Scales].

He rushed towards the foremost humanoid beast that had a white skin with 10 strong arms.

George dogged its powerful punches that produced a strong gust of winds and grabbed its face.

The toxic flames immediately started to corrode its head, beginning to spread across its body.

George jumped high by kicking its chest, his eyes fixated on the army of beasts under him. His throat bulged, he opened his fangs filled mouth, breathing out a stream of Toxic Dragonfire towards the beasts under him.

Howls filled with agony mixed together with the savagely roars after he finished his attack.

He landed in the middle of the wave that were being corroded to death by the green flames. That attack used up a huge chunk of his Flux but it was necessary to make space for him and give him some time.

He sprinted with a greater speed towards the beasts that didn't dare to enter the area where the green flames burned, smashing into another beast which he pierced with his right claw.

It howled in agony as the toxic flames began to corrode it from the inside. George pushed himself back, dodging a bite attack from another beast. He delivered a devastating knee attack to its head, that immediately cracked. He jumped over the next beast while slashing its back with his claws, leaving bits of green flames behind that tortured it until its death.

He entered a state of frenzy while also entering the Zone. Producing a huge massacre on his own wherever he went. Limbs flew up into the air, bones were broken, blood splashed in every direction.

George created countless bloodbaths through his stay in the white desert, developing his own fighting style that was a mix between instinctual movements and the Muay Thay he remembered from the movie Ong-Bak.

He didn't know how much time passed but his body was drenched in blood. Another mass graveyard had been created around him. His emotionless black eyes stared down at the last beast that was alive. It had all of its 8 legs broken, half to death beaten lying on the blood drenched sand...

The black scales over his body retreated back, leaving his brown skin behind. George sat down on a random corpse waiting for the Flux to be refilled by his Astral Star. He found out that there wouldn't be another wave if he left the last beast alive. But the wave would begin the moment he was back at his peak. There was no way to cheat this place...

"Begin the Inheritance Ritual!" Ordered the red colored humanoid figure hidden in the space...
