Making Today a Perfect Day

" Just follow the string." Elsa held up one end of a black cord and passed it to Hiccup.

" Wait, what?" Hiccup began following it out the door.

Hiccup climbed over furniture, pulling on the string hoping to find where it would finish, Liry and Toothless following close behind.

" I've got big plans, I've got surprises for today." Elsa followed Hiccup as he climbed over the furniture.

" Nothing but nothings gonna get in our way." Elsa pulled back the helmet on a suit of armour to reveal a beautiful bracelet.

It was made of magma stones painted in Hiccup's favourite colours, green, black, and red.

Elsa slipped the bracelet onto his wrist and pulled him further along.

Olaf, Sven, Kristoph, Anna, and the dragons we're sleeping in a pile on the ground.

The two snowgies jumped past them and Olaf woke to see them go by.

The others woke up, Kristoph and Anna tried to grab them as they jumped up onto the table, but they both tipped the punch bowl all over them.

" I've worked for weeks planned everything within my power." Elsa followed her boyfriend through the halls.

" I even got Toothless and the others to take a shower." Toothless huffed, he hated baths as did every dragon unless you were a tidal class.

" If someone wants to hold me back, I'd like to see them try." Elsa led Hiccup to a cupboard and the man opened it to reveal a new set of armour.

It was made of gronckle iron and leather, with various dragon's embodied in the leather.

"I'm on the birthday plan attack, I'm giving you the sun, the moon, and the sky!" Elsa held her hands up to the sky as the ran out onto a balcony.

On the ledge, a statue made of glowing crystals sat, it was carved to look like Hiccup's mother.

" Ahchoo!" Elsa sneezed again and more snowgies materialized and fell down to the courtyard.

Olaf was hugging the two snowgies tight and squealing.

" Little brothers," he exclaimed just as more snowgies ran past him and Olaf chased after them.

" Making today a perfect day for you." Elsa and Hiccup were flying on their dragon's backs.

They flew past a basket hanging from the Castel's roof with a sandwich sticking out of it.

" Oh, sandwich!" Hiccup grabbed the sandwich and placed it with the other gifts.

" Making today a blast if it's the last thing I do!" Elsa sang as they jumped onto a couch and up to a painting hanging on the wall.

It was all of them standing together with their dragons behind them.

" For everything you are to me and all you've been through." The dragons ran through the halls with their riders on their backs, the black cord hung between the hall.

A new shield fell into Hiccup's lap and he attached it to Toothless' saddle.

" Making today a perfect day for you!" the dragons slid down a set of stairs as Elsa sneezed.

" Ahchoo, ahchoo!" Hiccup looked at her concerned.

" They come in threes!" He sang back as they reached to bottom.

" I'm fine, ahchoo!" As Elsa sneezed more snowgies fell down the stairs after them.

Kristoph, Anna, Hookfang and Stormfly were chasing after a group of snowgies.

More flocked into the courtyard, they spotted the cake and smiled, as they thought we have to get that cake.

" Surprise, surprise this one especially, ahchoo!" Elsa sneezed as she passed a fishing pole made to look like a Scauldron.

The snowgies fell into the boat as Hiccup pulled Elsa away.

" Wow you've got me reeling, but I'm still concerned for you." Hiccup said as they made their way into town and put the fishing pole in Toothless' saddlebag.

" I think it's time we go home and gets some rest." Hiccup told her holding her arm.

" We are not stopping cause the next one is the best, ah ahchoo!" More snowgies appeared and sat around the snow globes as Elsa gave Hiccup a snow globe.

The globe had a figure of his father sitting in it with little dragons around him.

" Elsa you gotta go lie down." Hiccup told his girlfriend who tied one of the Oaken's cloaks around his neck.

" No way we have to paint the town!" Elsa opened the door to the sauna and took in the warm air.

" But you need medical attention." Hiccup suggested to her as Oaken emerged from the sauna completely naked.

" Are you sick, how about a cold remedy of my own invention!" The man sang holding the bottle out for Elsa.

" No thank you," Elsa told him walking away.

" Well take it." Hiccup grabbed the bottle and went after Elsa.

The two of them stood in front of a set of stairs where a group of kids we're singing with a few death songs warbling the tune.

" We're making today a perfect day for you." The children sang in unison.

" Making today a special day!" Elsa held her hand out towards Hiccup who had taken a bite of the sandwich.

" We're singing a birthday song to make your wishes come true." the children sang answering Elsa's lines.

" We love you, Prince Hiccup." The children sang.

" Wishes come true!" Elsa sneezed, more snowgies appeared in the children hands and on the death songs heads.

" And I love you too." Elsa helped Hiccup pick his presents up from the ground.

" So we're making today a perfect day in every way!" The children stopped singing to look at the snowgies.

Toothless and Liry noticed that their riders had no idea what was happening around them.

While this was going on Kristoph, Anna, and the dragons we're struggling to round up the snowgies.

Kristoph saw that a group of snowgies we're trying to jump up and eat the cake.

He grabbed Olaf's head and bowled it right at the bottom of their tower knocking them over.

A pile of snowgies slid across the rope holding the birthday banner breaking it, Kristoph and Anna looked up at their now destroyed banner.

" I can fix it!" Olaf exclaimed grabbing a few of the letters and running to fix the sign.

The snowgies had a spoon on the side if a spindle making a mini catapult, one of them jumped down on the end sending another flying towards the cake.

Kristoph caught the little guy in the punch bowl and readied himself for more.

" All fixed." Olaf exclaimed from where he was hanging on the rope.

" Dry pup hit hip hacc, that's not it." Anna yelled as she jumped onto Stormfly's head and tried to fix the letters.

Elsa and Hiccup were walking towards the clock tower for Elsa's finale gift to Hiccup.

" Come on, now we climb!" Elsa told him in a groggy voice.

" Elsa no that's too much, you need to rest." Hiccup exclaimed while carrying his presents.

" We need to get to our birthday chills I mean thrills." She slurred making her way to the tower.

Sven and Stormfly were chasing the snowgies around the tables trying to corner them, but the reindeer ran into an ice pillar and got his tongue stuck.

" Making dreams, making plans." Elsa burst through the door of the clock tower.

" Go, go, go, go." Elsa staggered up the stairs.

" Follow the string till the end, you are my very best friend." Elsa pointed up the tower then leant on her arm.

" Um, Elsa?" Hiccup was getting concerned as was Liry and Toothless, they knew Humans got sick but this was on another level.

" What I'm fine." Elsa answered, as she wobbled up the stair.

Kristoph was carrying the cake away from the snowgies, but a group of the stole it and ran in the other direction.

Hookfang picked it up with his horns and held it above his head, trying to keep it out of the snowgies reach.

~ Line Break ~

" We're gonna on a climb, we're gonna sing." Elsa and Hiccup walked through the top door.

Sitting at the top of the tower were a set if statues, made to look like Liry and Toothless.

" Follow the string to the thing." Elsa swung around the statues.

" Happy, happy, happy, merry, merry, merry, happy!" Elsa was about to fall off the clock tower, but Liry, who was still outside.

Flew up behind her and pushed the sick women into Hiccup's arms.

" Ah, Elsa look at you you've got a fever your burning up." Hiccup shipped a strand of her hair out of her eyes.

" Alright, we can't go on like this, let's put this day on hold." Hiccup moved a strand of hair out of Elsa's eyes.

" Come on admit it to your self." Hiccup asked her sternly.

" Ok, I have a cold." Liry nudged her and the four of them went back to the castle.

Hiccup had his arms around Elsa trying to keep her warm and Liry was walking beside her rider, making sure she was balanced.

" I'm sorry Hiccup, I just wanted to give you one perfect birthday but I ruined it." Hiccup turned around to face her.

"You didn't ruin anything and I actually loved all the gifts you got me." Hiccup told her as he leaned up against the gate.

" This is my first birthday with actual people." Toothless huffed at his brother just as Hiccup opened the door.
