My Lucky

"How is he feeling?" Minerva asked as she watched Daniel cover Lucky with more blankets that he had retrieved from the other room.

They were in a two bedroom apartment in town. The joy roaring in her was still alive but she was trying to put herself under control.

Minerva sighed, "Do you think that he'll be fine by morning?"

"I don't know." He breathed out as he straightened up.

"You can use the other room. I'll stay in here with him." Daniel suggested.

"Okay. But tell me first, whose apartment is this? I know it's not yours." she said with a teasing smile.

"Are you sure you want to know?" Daniel questioned as he cocked his brow up in question.

Wasn't it obvious? How silly of her to ask such a question!

Yeah, the apartment was obviously owned by Maynard.
