"People I was seen with? By whom? Are you sure that those people gave you the right information alpha?" Daniel asked trying to act as innocent as possible.

"How dare you question me?!" Maynard's voice boomed throughout the entire room causing Daniel to shiver a little from fear.

"I didn't mean to but you've told them to search around. Have they seen those said people?" Daniel questioned looking at Maynard's beta and the other werewolf who hesitantly shook their heads.

They hadn't seen a single soul in there so Maynard was wrong.

"Why do you mistrust me Alpha?" Daniel asked he felt wounded within at the moment. All those years he had lived with Maynard and still Maynard couldn't believe him? What was this?

Maynard's mistrust was simply out of line.

"I thought I told you to not question me!" Maynard yelled as he launched forwards on Daniel and caught his throat which he squeezed a little.
