I stared at his hand with confusion. Did he seriously expect me to shake his hand!? My kidnapper seriously wanted me, ME, to shake his hand. I looked back up and gave him the scariest death stare I possibly could.
He didn't flinch, not even once.
I mean.. it's not like I'm intimidating. Not at all.
He devilishly chuckled at me. What. A. Scum.
"How incredibly rude of you to not accept my welcoming hand." He said as if he was offended. I scoffed. 'Welcoming?' I thought.
"And was that supposed to be scary?" He asked, "Because you didn't even get a shiver out of me." He bragged. I couldn't stand him.
"I'll show you something scary," he said. And he began to reach for my hand. I wanted to react but a few moments after he reached for me, I blacked out.
***
I woke up in a panicked state. I was hyperventilating and gasping for air. I tried to look around but it was as if my eyes have failed me.
I was surrounded in black, every nook and cranny. I was silently hoping it was an all-black room but I couldn't tell. It was that dark.
A few more moments had passed and I had managed to calm down. I hurdled up into a ball, covering my knees and below with my arms. I hid my face in between my knees and chest out of instinct.
But atlas something had given me a sign.
A firm hand caressed my face ever so gently but still with a grip strong enough to hold me in place. I winced in response and tried to squirm away but the grip was disagreeing with my resistance.
I was shaking at this point and on the verge of tears as the hand grabbed my face and tilted it upwards, to which I could see! I smiled in response but... that was only in the spur of the moment.
That's because I had realized who the hand belonged to. 'The one, the only, the devil. Or... a human version of him?' Bonnie thought.
A mischievous smirk marked his face as he glared down at me. I frowned in response and yelled at him. Or at least ... tried to?
Not a single sound escaped my lips as confusion struck my face.
That's when Acelen flashed me a smile. But oh, not a normal smile. A mesmerizing smile. I could stare at him for days, months, YEARS and I wouldn't get tired of his face. But what was I thinking?! Have I gone mad?
That all lasted until I saw what he trying to show me.
A sharp canine-like tooth was adjacent to another just like it about 4 inches apart. Some form of liquid was dripping from it? But it was not too long until I realized it was blood.
Where had he gotten it from- wait? Why is he drinking blood? Or red wine... Is he some type of person who is into Cannibalism!? Or...alcholism? Is that a word..
A disgusted look is what he received from his smile after a while. And he caught on. But then he started to lean in closer to me. Close enough, I could feel his warm breath. Almost comforting if I weren't in the situation I am in.
His breath brushed my ear as he said, and I quote, "Your taste is permanent on my tongue, I could never have enough." He said while breathing his breath in my ear.
I froze.
And my wandering eyes fell upon my wounded chest with bite marks marking every inch. Blood colored my clothing as I gazed upon it. I looked up at him in horror. I couldn't comprehend anything. Nothing at all.
I started to feel dizzy as his colorless and obviously humored smile filled his face one again. Eventually, I fell unconscious as the words 'Forever mine' Left his lips. Everything went black.

I woke up with a violent headache which received a "Tch..." from me in pain. My body was sore and the bruises and scratches still marked my body from the night before.
Acelen was nowhere in sight, but I was still in the holy-like room. The dream was the only thing I could think of.
'That felt unbelievably real..' I thought. I looked down at my torn clothing and peered at my chest which was left with a few marks from the beating but nothing major.
I reached up to touch my forehead only to pause out of sudden realization, I can move?
I ripped the blanket off my legs and just as I had hoped, I was free from the restricting straps. I smiled with glee but then another thought struck me.
I felt as if I had limited time to escape. I mean, who knew when Acelen would be back?
Quickly, I moved my legs sideways on the bed and tried to hop off. My feet couldn't even touch the ground but as soon as the did, I fell forward. Wincing in pain as my adrenaline began to flow, I took off.
Turning the sharp corners of this humongous plot and running on my tiptoes I had finally reached a huge door. This door was not in my memory but It was very attracting so I believed it to be the main entrance.
I hopped with glee towards this door and grabbed the huge handles that were about the size of my head. They were heavy for my weak and nimble limbs but I managed to pry it open.
Only to my horrors as Acelen sat on a smokey midnight colored bedding with his leg elegantly crossed over the other. He looked as if he was expecting me. 'How?' I started to question, mentally hitting my head.
"Aw. Trying to leave me so soon, my sweet?" He said enchantingly. I swear if I weren't cautious I would've fallen for it. Luckily I didn't.
"How, I bet you're asking?" He said with a smile, revealing those haunting canines.
The only sounds heard were my harsh breaths as I stood there, my hand on the handle.
"You're heartbeat gave it away." He said while shrugging. "It's so active...so loud. And alive." He joked, at least I was hoping so.
Forgetting everything he said and not even minding the nonsense, I took my hand and grabbed my chest, only to turn and run as fast as I could im the opposing direction. 'He has to have servants right?!' I thought. 'Someone has to help me.'
I ran and ran until I heard some voices and clanking sounds. They were so nonchalant. 'Someone had to help me here!' I thought.
I ran in screaming 'Help!', running up to each and every group, but they all looked at me with disgust or pity as if I were below them. I teared up as everyone resumed their fun time without concern of my wellbeing. And then the room went silent as everyone turned their heads to a corner.
"Amazing listening skills, slaves." A voice said. It was coming from the corner everyone was looking towards. I dreaded the idea of looking because I had immediately recognized the voice.
Acelen, of course.
"You all have earned your bread and milk tonight. My chefs will deliver it to you soon. You're dismissed." He said, sending them off with a satisfied and hopeful look. The room was immediately cleared.
Tears rolled down my face as I realized my hopeless situation.
"Please... let me go." I begged.
His smile grew.
"I would, but I won't. I thought I told you, your taste is addicting."
