Oddly, she started to miss his presence, which she was just questioning a moment ago. That's weird.
And then, there were two. Or three?
Depending on if you count the folk that just arrived.
Nonetheless, Bonnie ended up dozing off like she didn't have a choice. In truth, she didn't. She didn't have a choice because Acelen had let out a sleep-inducing aroma because he knew she was ignorant. Plus she didn't really need to be awake right now. Considering the occupant on the other side of this door.
Once acelen reached the door, he could already tell who it was by the scent that lingered in his nose. A scent that loathed him. He could only sigh and open the door abruptly. He rolled his eyes as his brother pushed past him with such arrogance.
'Ugh. This just couldn't get any worse than this could it?' Ah. You really shouldn't jinx things Acelen.
Zythe walked past Acelen arrogantly but then stopped when he smelt a mix of scents that confused him. He was looking for Bonnie's scent mainly, but he smelt an unusual and overflowingly amount of Acelen's scent intertwined with fresh blood.
Wait- Fresh blood? Wait. This much of Acelen's scent was unusual since he chose to rarely eat. He had to have a living human's blood. The finest there is,
Hm.
"Where's Bon Bon?" Zythe asked Acelen.
Acelen scoffed with a hint of suppressed laughter. He realized Acelen's overflowing scent and must've put 2 and 2 together. Still, it angered him because Zythe believes he has the right to strut in here and demand answers? Pfft. Hilarious. Hilariously annoying.
"Zythe," Acelen sighed, "Why are you here?" He asked.
"Oh, Did you forget so soon, my dear older brother?" Zythe said eyeingly. "Mother did tell you that I bore news, correct?"
"News..? Oh. That. Right." Said Acelen as he remembered his brother's visit and sudden declaration to pursue Bonnie.
Of course, Acelen would never allow that. Not in his wildest dreams. He just agreed to hush up this pest. But now, he seemed to be less of a pest and more of a persistent fly. He sighed deeply as he thought.
"Bonnie is resting. You should know the locations of your own room, right?" Said Acelen, well aware that his brother didn't know, but his ego is so big that it clouded his judgment.
"O-Of course I know!" Spouted Zythe as he stormed off. Just before he got anywhere down the hall he paused mid-walk. He turned towards Acelen with a stern look on his face.
"Oi! Did you...you drank Bonnie's blood, didn't you?" He asked accusingly.
Acelen turned his head slightly to Zythe before he turned his whole body back to its original position. He just wanted a quick glance at his younger brother's blatant jealousy. He laughed inwardly at the sight. It was so hopeless- yet his brother purged on.
"Well?"
"Mm. I did. She offered it to me, I didn't want to accept but she persisted."
"Why would you- I told you what I was going to do!" Yelled back Zythe.
"Oh. That's right! You did. It's the same situation here. Besides, I was just enjoying what's mine." He teased his brother finally and left to check on Bonnie.
Zythe fumed. "You reek," He lied, "Get that loud smell checked out before you attract some bottomfeeders."
Acelen continued on his journey and annoyed his brother.
Zythe stood there for a moment, bewildered. Then he turned around and stomped down the hall, his way to his room. Again he'd rather walk than teleport, but that's just his preference. Well, it's certain he couldn't anyway considering he has no idea where he's going.
In the infirmary with Bonnie,
Acelen lifted his sleep-inducing aroma and awoke Bonnie's soul gently.
Instinctively, Bonnie awoke slowly. She yawned before she opened her eyes and sat up to stretch. Then she started to remember what she'd temporarily forgot from being suddenly awoken. 'That's weird, I wasn't even tired at that time.' Bonnie thought.
"Good noon," Acelen commented next to Bonnie. She flinched and turned to greet him as well.
"Yes! Good.... noon..?" Bonnie said. She had no idea what day or how many days'd been. She looked up towards Acelen when they suddenly locked eyes. It seems Acelen was already looking at her beforehand.
The sun shimmered on Acelen's enchanting features as he gazed into her eyes. His white hair looked as if no effort was put into it, but it was effortlessly done. His left red eye reflected the sunlight beautifully, while his right grey seemed to capture the light. Bonnie was getting lost in this good-looking mans' face as she continued her gaze.
Acelen had already noticed her stare but she hadn't noticed his return of a stare. In the end, Acelen suddenly smiled which caught her way off guard. Her eyes went wide as he smiled.
Then he spoke,
"It's been two days since you 'last' awoke." (Not counting the time he induced her sleep)
Bonnie was almost caught again as she unnoticedly repeated his words aloud.
"It's been two days since-" She hastily spoke before she realized and slapped her hand over her mouth.
Acelen inwardly laughed in amusement as he patiently stood.
"You must be hungry." He said.
