CH:16 AGAIN!!

After breakfast, Jacob went back to the room and I brought a cup of water for him so that he can take the medicine. And then asked him to take a rest. I then went to my study room to study for a bit because I didn't have anything to do and I was so tired of scrolling down the memes.

I sat on the chair in front of the table and took out my books. I picked my favorite subject BIOLOGY and started making notes I started studying and I got so indulged in the studies that I didn't keep a check on the time, it was around 4:30 pm when I checked the time and I wasn't ready to leave the books but I stood up because of the knock-on my study room. I opened the door and saw Jacob standing in front of me. I smiled and Then Jacob said "Mason I have a favoUr to ask can you please help me? "His voice was very low but audible. I replied, "What favor you have to ask I will help you." "Actually, I want to make a call, can you lend me your mobile phone?" he stuttered. I giggled in his innocence as the way he asked me for a favor I thought it was something really serious but he just wanted my mobile phone.

"Yes, you can have it." I said and he smiled at me and said "Thank you." I went back inside the room and picked up my phone from the table and gave him my phone, he unlocked the phone and made a phone call.

When the person he was calling picks up the phone I noticed that Jacobs's lips curved in a huge smile and he said "Hello. It's Jacob, Eddie" and hearing Eddie's name my body felt an unwanted and very different pain and I didn't want to interfere in their chat. So, I went outside the room and headed to the kitchen to cook something for dinner. I took out the vermicelli and started to boil it after around 5 minutes and returned my phone to me and said "thank you" I didn't replied anything and he again said, "actually, I broke my phone so I needed to buy a new phone so I wanted him to accompany to the store s I was asking him to come for help." I just nodded and thought "Why can't he ask for my help. Why he always takes help of Eddie can't he trust me?" I was boiling from inside but that was very silly and useless.

I prepared the dinner and plated it on the dining table "Jacob, dinner is ready." And after saying that I sat on the dining table and saw Jacob coming near the table and sat in front of me, "What is this dish?" He said while dipping his spoon in the plate and taking a bit.

"It's spicy vermicelli, Jacob." He hummed in response as his mouth was full and after he finished it he said "I've never had this before and it really tastes good." I smiled in response and said "Hyung! I wanted to ask you something"

"HYUNG??" he said in a confusing manner

"You are older than me Hyung and plus you are my senior too so I thought I should call you Hyung."

"OH" he pauses and again said, "what do you want to ask for me?"

"I wanted to ask that how you told Eddie Hyung my address to pick you up, because as I remember you don't know my address," I said while filing my spoon with the vermicelli

"Ohh that I didn't tell him your address I will go to the store by the taxi and there he will meet me" he replied in a very warming tone

"If you agree I will leave you to the store," I asked very confidently as I thought he would reject my offer

"But that's very far from here. Right?" He asked filling his mouth with the food

"Actually I also have to go to the market because I have to buy some daily necessities. So I thought I would drop you there." I again spoke very confidently so that he can agree

"That will be okay for me, thanks" he said and smiled at me and his eyes turned into crescent shape which was very cute

After we both finished our food I washed the dishes and Jacob went back to the room and took the medications and after he took his medicines I went outside of my room and went to study but I couldn't because my mind was filled with Eddie and Jacob's thought.

After studying a bit I decided to sleep because I couldn't concentrate even a bit in the study. I laid down on the couch and then covered me with the blanket and tried to sleep but that also didn't work because I couldn't take out the thought of Jacob smiling while talking to Eddie.

"Why he smiles whenever he is with Eddie and whenever he talks to Eddie his smile never disappears?" "And he always asks help from Eddie only even though he stays at my house and I helped him a lot in the hospital then also he asks help from him, not from me." I was so frustrated by these thoughts so I plugged in the earphone and heard some music that could calm me down. I was feeling strange too because it was the first time I was feeling something like this which I also don't know what it is but whatever it was it was really very painful to me.

I was almost out of that thought when my phone buzzed and I saw there was a message from an unknown number and when I opened it I realized it was Eddie.

EDDIE:HEY JACOB! MAYBE I WOULD GET LATE SOMETHING LIKE HALF HOUR OR SO.I WILL MEET YOU AT THE STORE DIRECTLY.

And that again raised the same questions in my mind. But I ignored it at that time so that I could sleep properly and finally I somehow managed to sleep.
