CH: 18 FRIENDS

After some shopping I went back to home I was so much tired from waiting in the line. It was such a long line. I entered the home and I realized I was all alone in the home so I was allowed to use my room and my bed. I smiled as widely I could and went into my room and fell on my bed "whoa! It's so relaxing I got my heaven back." I shouted as I rolled over my bed in comfort and went to sleep without changing my clothes.

It's been just 2 days and the bed already had the same fragrance of Jacob. And frankly I didn't hate it, I closed my eyes and slept there it was so comfortable for me those cushions on the couch were really a pain in my neck and head too. "I missed you my soft pillows," I spoke in my mind and let out some fake tears out of my eyes as I wiped them.

I slept there so comfortably and deeply that I didn't keep a check on the time and it was already 4'o clock when I woke up. I just stood up from the bed and went to the washroom to wash my face and then went in the study room. I sat on the chair and took out my books and opened them in front of me.

I had only 2 rooms in my house and 1 bed. And there I made the mistake I made the decision at such an instant that I forgot where would he sleep if he will move to my place and asked him to stay with me and even agreed to become his landlord too. I was such a fool but I don't regret my decision of letting him stay with me because this house wasn't an empty one after he arrived or I could say I experienced many new feelings for the first time because of him. Even though I've to sleep on the couch, help him bathing, making food for one extra person but then also like it when he stays by my side " and here comes one more new feeling." I said to myself and chuckled a bit.

And then I started studying I got so indulged in studying that I didn't noticed when Jacob came into my room and I almost fell from my seat when he patted my shoulder but I balanced myself from falling. He giggled and I said "Hey! Hyung. When did you came back." "I returned back around 2 to 3 hours ago." He said and I nodded in response.

'actually I wanted to ask for something." He said hesitating a bit.

"What it is? Go ahead." I replied while standing up to give the chair to Jacob. And asked him to sit on it

"Um...can I... can I have your..."

"Can I have your... what? Hyung."

"Can I have your phone number?" he asked shyly and almost stuttered

I smiled and said "why not Hyung?" he was looking so pretty at that moment as he was avoiding eye contact and his ears were crimson red. He smiled listening to my response. I took out my phone from my pocket and asked him to dial his number in my phone and after he finished I gave a missed call on his number and then he save my number. I didn't saw the name he gave to me and I didn't peek too when he was typing it.

After getting my number he smiled and smiled just like a when a 5 years kid smiles in joy when he got his favorite toy or candy which he wanted the most. I then asked "if you came 3 hours ago then why didn't I have to know it?"

"You left the gate open, and when I entered the room I saw you were sleeping soundly on the bed so I went and slept on the couch. And I woke up a few minutes ago and came here."

"Oh! Sorry hyung for the problem I didn't want to make you sleep on the couch I was so tired and I missed my bed a lot too so I slept on the bed." I said and apologized. As I felt guilty for letting him sleep on the couch, he was injured.

He then smiled and said "no problem, actually I wanted to talk to you about that also." he paused for a while and again looked away from me and continued "if you don't mind... I mean if you feel uncomfortable on the couch..." he then took a deep breath and said "you can sleep with me." He spoke the last word so instantly but those were very clearly audible to me. I also felt shy after hearing those words I could feel the blood flowing in my cheeks which felt very hot at that moment.

"I... no, It's okay. I will manage."

"No, you don't have to manage or adjust. It's your house and you can sleep on your bed.

"But..."

"Please, you can consider it my last request."

"LAST REQUEST...' I spoke in a shock and went quiet.

"I mean, I won't request anything else after that." He said clearing my thoughts.

"Are you sure that won't bother you?"

"Yes, it won't bother me." He said and I nodded in agreement and he walked out of the room after he got my reply and I ran into the bathroom to wash my face as it was burning hot. It was the first time my face turned so hot and the reason was not fever but just a person. That was so embarrassing I wiped my face with the towel and saw Jacob arranging his stuff, I went there and asked "Do you need my help?" denied and started continuing his work. "Ok! I am preparing dinner If you need anything just call me out." He nodded and smiled at me and after that, I went away. I prepared the RED SAUCE PASTA and it took me almost half an hour to do that.

After a while when I was finished plating it too, I called out for Jacob, "Hyung, food is ready. How much time it will take?"

"It's almost done, I'm coming." He shouted from inside the room.

"Ok! Hyung," I shouted back and sat on the stool and waited for him. He came out within a minute he was wiping his face which was wet as he just washed it. He came near the table and sat in front of me. He looked at the pasta and said "Thank you for the food." I simply chuckled and nodded and we dig in the food. The dinner was going very quietly we both weren't speaking. So, I decided to break the silence because that was irritating me.

"Hyung, as you are my senior from the same field, can you please tell me any tips, I should take care while studying."

"I don't think of any tips because there aren't many. Just stay focused and that's all you just have to dedicate every minute to the study when you sit for studying and mainly on the anatomical portion that could be the hard one if you ignore it that is too much important." He gave me tips as my teacher and before he could speak much I interrupted,

"Oh! Sir, I will keep them in mind." I said and he laughed at that because he realized that he was talking without a pause. I laughed at that moment too and then I again asked, "hyung, do you have any hobbies."

"I do have some love writing songs, singing, dancing, and painting too."

"Oh! That's great do you have any of your work with you, can you please show me." I said excitedly and then filled my mouth with the food.

"Actually I can't show you my lyrics because they are too personal for me but I can show you my drawings."

"Ohk hyung..." I smile as I was so excited to see them. We finished our dinner and I took the plated back to the sink and turned on the tap to wash them. I applied the dish wash on the dishes first and when I kept the plate aside. I saw Jacob came to me and washed the plate and wiped it off.

"You are really helpful hyung." I said "you are quite helpful too, Mason. you spend your money on my medications my treatment and paid every bill and all above that you gave me a roof to live under and food to eat. This is the least I can do."

"Hyung, friends never help for a payback they just help without any greed," I replied and a gentle smile appeared on my face. He smiled at me back and said "You are really a great friend, mason."

"You also helped in many ways hyung, you made me realize things I've never wondered before. You made me feel many things that I haven't felt before. Thanks, hyung."

"Hey! Don't say thanks again and again you told me not to say that and now you are saying it to me."

We again laughed a bit at that and finished cleaning the kitchen while chatting about different stuffs.
