CH: 31 LOCKER ROOM

I woke up a bit late as I wasn't able to sleep properly last night, I opened my eyes and turned my face, I saw Jacob was still sleeping and his legs were placed over me as usual. I smiled at the thought of what happened yesterday and shifted his legs away to stand up but before I could stand up, Jacob hands wrapped around my body and he pulled me back and whispered in my ear, "sleep for few more minutes, please. I still want to sleep a bit." After completing his sentence he gently kissed my earlobe and I flinched at that point.

"But don't you have to on work today. Its already nine "I stuttered as I looked at the watch in our room.

"No I don't have to go to work today as I was so tired yesterday, so Eddie recommended me to take a leave. Hence, I will not go to work today." He said still making a tight grip on me

"But you don't seem tired at all," I replied taunting him and turning my face towards him.

"Well I am tired and I am not going to work today." He said still holding me in his arms and protesting the fact of me leaving the bed.

"But I don't have a holiday today so leave me I have to go today." I again protested and tried to lose his grip; I finally succeeded and came out of his grasp. Before he could say anything I was already out of the room.

I was giggling as I made my way to the washroom to take a bath. Everything which was happening to me was still like a dream to me I wasn't able to believe that I really kissed Jacob and now we were acting like couples even though it wasn't official as we both confessed yet and I was still thinking that does he really knew that I liked him or was he talking about something else. And if he knew it and felt the same way he didn't ask me or said anything. I thought while standing under the shower.

I took a bath and headed towards my room after wrapping a towel around my waist, to get my clothes as I forgot to bring them with me. When I reached to my room I saw Jacob was still sleeping, I picked up my clothes and went to the washroom to change into them. It was around 9:40 when I was almost ready but the breakfast wasn't ready, I entered the kitchen and searched for some snacks to eat as there was no time to make breakfast. I found a packet of chips which Jacob bought a few days ago, and decided to eat that as my breakfast. I wore my shoes and wrote a note as it would be impolite to leave without informing him

"Sorry I haven't made breakfast because I was running late. Bye."

I left it on the table and was about to leave when I heard Jacob shouting, "Hey! Where are you going? You went to work alone yesterday also, do you really thought I would let you go alone today too." He said approaching me. He was already wearing his joggers and a plain t-shirt.

"I wasn't planning to wake you up because you say you were tired," I replied as he stood near me.

"I'm tired but dropping you to your work will work as an exercise for me. It isn't more tiring to me." He said and didn't allow me to say anything else and pulled me out of the house and locked the door.

We were on our way to the library and we both just walked in silence. It was really awkward for me because he was holding my hand and it was the first time I was feeling so nervous just by holding his hand. I was breathing heavily and he noticed it just after a few minutes we walked.

"Why are you breathing heavily? Are you okay? Is there anything wrong with your health?" he asked as he stopped walking and looked at me with worried eyes.

"No... no I'm fine. everything is good." I replied and he again started walking after he checked whether I had a fever or not.

"ok," he said and smiled looking at me.

We were still not talking, so he again spoke to star the conversation and asked "how was your day yesterday?" "It was good, but nothing special, Krystal and I went to the café yesterday which opened 2 days ago only near our library. It really has great burgers." I replied as my mouth became watery by remembering the taste of the burger I ate yesterday. My thoughts were interrupted by Jacob when I felt him waving hands in front of my face and calling my name.

"What are you thinking about Mason?" he asked when I came back to present

"Nothing I was just thinking about the taste of that burger," I said and looked at Jacob

"Was it that delicious? We will try it this Sunday. I would love to taste it." He said and I nodded in agreement

I was smiling for the rest of our walk, we finally reached to library and Krystal was already there looking at her phone; maybe she was waiting for us, because as soon as she saw us she ran towards me and said, "Mason I have a great news." And started jumping and hugged me tightly.

"Well... what it is?" I asked suppressed under her arms which were tightly wrapped around me.

"I will tell you that later. First, tell me what's this... hmmm..." she whispered in my ear, before releasing me and pointed towards our tangled fingers.

"It's nothing," I said as I pulled back my hand and trailed my fingers through my hair. I felt shy as soon as Krystal started giggling at my action, while Jacob stood dumbfounded.

"What are you talking about like this?" he asked looking at me with a questioning look.

"Nothing she was just babbling," I said and smiled awkwardly.

Finally, Jacob left after bidding us goodbye, and as he left we started making our way inside the library when she again asked, "tell me why were you holding hands, and you were smiling like a fool... not just holding but even your fingers are tangled." She asked and smirked looking at me and within seconds my face turned red and I said, "Why your mind always goes in that direction.", and fastened my pace so that she doesn't get a chance to investigate me any further.

"Hey stop... stop walking faster I will not leave you without an answer." She shouted but I ignored her as I continued to move faster.

"Wait... I will see you during the lunch break; you brat." She shouted when she realized that there was no way I was going to stop.

"Hey stop," she said as she still walked behind me.

Finally, I reached inside the library and directly went to change into my work uniform before Krystal could reach. I almost changed my clothes and was putting my stuff in the men's locker room when I heard the gate open with a loud thud voice when I trailed my eyes to the origin of the voice the person was none other than Krystal. She ran towards me and said, "There is no way that I'm letting you go... and... I can't wait till lunch break so tell me what happened?", and slammed her hands on the locker locking me in between. It was a fortunate thing that there was no one in the locker room. But the luck didn't last long as; just after Krystal locked me in between her hands, few coworkers arrived and saw us.

They looked at us or I can say glared at us with their beaming eyes throwing a thousand of questions on us. But Krystal didn't care as she was so eager to know what happened, she was a true shipper. She shipped me and Jacob since the day I told her that I like him. And she was so serious about my every move I made or everything that happened between us. I didn't mind that either because she was the only one who could help me and was helping me till now.

My face turned red with embarrassment as those guys were staring at us continuously and whispered a few things too. I didn't wait for another minute and pulled Krystal out with me and said, "Are you stupid how you could break in men's locker room."

"I don't care just give me my answer and I will leave you." She said still sticking to her point.

"Actually... we... kissed yesterday." I stuttered on my words.

"What? What did you say right now?" she almost shouted.

"Can't you hear at once?" I said in an annoyed tone, but I wasn't really annoyed as the thought of our kiss yesterday; lights up my mood.

"Are you telling me or not?" she said as she attacked me with her laser eyes.

"We kissed yesterday." I again said and a smile made its way to my lips.
