"A guardian beast, with the strength of a demon king" James said in deep thought.

"How did you know that it was there in the first place?" James asked with surprise.

[I SENSED IT WHEN YOU USES THE LIGHTENING BOLT ONTHE DEMON KING]

"So it is attracted to my lightening and all this was a plan, good one but you forgot one thing, how can we even begin to look for it when I am like this, I can't even move well after what just happened" James asked the system with a questioning look.

[SOMETIMES I DONT UNDERSTAND YOU, WITH SUCH A LARGE AMOUNT OF SYSTEM POINTS, WHY CANT YOU JUST TAKE OUT A 1000 AND BUY A BEGINNER HEALTH POTION OR IS IT TOO MUCH]

"What, I could do that the whole time and you didn't tell me, wow I have to get time to school through the store and maybe get some new bloodlines" James said before buying 10 bottles of intermediate health potions instead of beginner.

After drinking it, he felt a warm and cooling sensation spread through his body, it felt like he was getting a massage and anytime the sensation reached a part of his body, it would pause and release a large amount of energy to heal the injury then move forward to another point.

"Uh, that felt good, I want to experience it again" James said with happiness as he raised the second bottle to his mouth.

"Oh shit, that was close" James said as he hurriedly placed the bottle in his dimension space.

After placing his clone and moving to Tom's room after using his stealth skill which was almost at the highest level.He entered his room and noticed that the environment had suddenly become hotter and when he reached the bed and tried to touch Tom, he suddenly felt extreme heat coming from the body bit since he couldn't feel pain, he just placed him in his dimension space.

"We got here on time otherwise, the next person who would have entered here would have noticed that something was wrong" James said as he placed his other clone who had changed his appearance to that of Tom's.

When he was done he went into the town and was surprised because it was larger than he imagined and guards could be seen patrolling the streets which couldn't be seen in his previous city.

"So what do we do now?" James asked the system because he had no idea what to do.

So after sometime of manouvering through the busy streets, they finally arrived at the location of the aura and James also sensed it but that wasn't the only aura he sensed.

"Demons, and many at that" James said with disgust as he stood in front of the city lords mansion which stood magnificently in the centre of the city.

[THEY MOST LIKELY HAVE POSSESED THE POWERFUL ESPERS IN THE MANSION]

"what do we do now, they will surely sense me if immediately I step into the mansion, how I wish I had my clones" James said as he tried to think of a plan.

[THIS IS A TOUGH CHOICE TO MAKE, ALERT THEM OF YOUR PRESENCE AND RISK HURTING SOME CIVILIANS OR GO BACK AND WAIT UNTIL WE HAVE A PROPER PLAN]

"What if we don't do any of that, I think I have a better plan" James said with a grin.

[WELL, WHAT IS THE PLAN WE DONT HAVE ALL DAY]

"What if I disguise myself as one of the demon lieutenants to trick them and then take care of them when they are distracted" James said with courage.

[WOW, THAT IS SURPRISINGLY A GOOD PLAN WELL DONE, NOW YOU ARE BEHAVING LIKE YOUR PREVIOUS SELF]

"You say that like you knew him" James said as he walked into the palaces and turned off his skill and immediately he did, he felt several auras lock onto him as they tried pressured him so he also released his own which blocked all of theirs.

"Hello please may I know who you are and your mission here" A guard walked to him and said in a dominant manner.

"Could you take me to the city lord, I have very important business to discuss with him" James replied in an equally dominant manner.

"Who do you think you are, you can't just come in here an... " The guard said in dissatisfaction but before he could complete it, another guard walked towards them.

"Will you shut up and get back to your post, I will deal with you later, esteemed guest, the city lord awaits your presence" The guard shouted to the other guard which made his face become pale with fear then he apologized to James and escorted him to the meet the city lord.

"Who is that, he must be powerful otherwise the headguard wouldn't have come to personally meet him and escort him to the city lord" Another guard said to the previous one with slight fear but he soon noticed that he wasn't listening to him and was trembling slightly but he didn't know that the guard had felt a bone chilling aura from the headguard when he glared at him.

When he was escorting him, he didn't say a word and led him into the office of the city lord and when they reached there, he knocked twice and a voice responded telling them to come in.

As James was about to come inside, he dropped an object in front of the door and walked inside which closing the door behind him and when he walked inside, he saw the city lord sitting on a chair discussing something with six generals who sat three at each of his side.

'A whole group of demons, thank God I bought that item otherwise there would no doubt be casualties' James thought to himself as he glanced at them.

"What is your mission here" The city lord said with a frown.

"Is your eyesight so bad that you can't recognize me" James said as he changed to a demon lieutenant.

"Nanook, it's you why didn't you just tell us that it was you" A chubby general said with surprise.

"You can't take chances nowadays, the demon king sent me to check on how the plan was progressing" James replied with a grin.

"Which plan may that be" Another general with an eye patch asked James suspiciously.

"Is that suspicion I sense In your voice, general" James asked with sarcasm evident in his voice as he pretended to be angry.

"Don't mind Rolo, he is just sore about not being the leader of this operation and like you said, you can't take chances nowadays" The city lord replied cunningly.

"Well just to clear out any of your suspicion, I mean the situation with the guardian beast" James replied with a wide grin.

"How did you know about that, you weren't supposed to be involved in this?" Rolo asked with more suspicion as he got up from his seat.

"What are you implying Rolo, I hate that tone in your voice, are you trying to oppose me" James said as he released his aura to purposely suppress Rolo.

"Rolo control your tongue, Nanook, I am sorry for his attitude, the plan is going well, we have successfully suppressed it with the sacred demon chains" The city lord said after sending the tense atmosphere.

"Good everything is going according to the plan, have you encountered any problem?"James said as he pretended to be happy but secretly he was fuming in rage.

"No we haven't and even if we do, we can take care if it ourselves, we don't need your help" Rolo said to James as he stared at him intently.

"This time, you have gone too far, you will pay for your foolishness" James said as he once again released his aura which also clashed with Rolo's and caused furniture to be destroyed.

"STOP!" the city lord said as he released his own aura which separated their own and suppressed them.

"You should watch your words or else, you will regret it, your arrogance will be reported to the demon king" James said after calming down.

"Where is the location of the guardian beast?" James asked the city lord.

"Why do you want to know that, you should already know that if you were really informed by the demon king" The city lord asked with suspicion.

"Since I have nothing else to gain from you, I will just massacre all of you" James said calmly as he took out his sword and activated sword tornado skill.

"What the, who are you?" chubby general asked with fear after feeling the aura coming from James.

"I am really tired of answering that question" James said as he slashed the sword at chubby general which caused him to try and block it with his hands but as it was about to touch him, it suddenly changed direction and swept past his arms and cut towards his legs and chopped them off before moving upwards and slicing him into two.

After seeing their friend die such a ruthless death, they immediately prepared to protect themselves but as they did that.

"Since you all want to block my attack, if you are able to block this one, I will let you leave with your lives" James said with a laugh as he activated his new skill.

Flames and lightening suddenly appeared in the room and gathered on the sword which sliced the five remaining generals and the headguard into two then ignited their bodies with flames.
