Naaririel, Tozul, Susan, Addison and Elias return to the base of The Council with everyone waiting for them.
"We're baaack! and we brought back the kids as well!" Said Tozul in a friendly almost childish tone as he sat down on the edge of the table.
"No need to scream" said Blake pushing Tozul on the shoulder as he was sitting down on a chair with his legs crossed on the table "Good job on bringing them back"
"Yeah well it wasn't as simple as intended" said Susan in a deep voice as she glared at Addison "But we still got the job done in any case, didn't we?" She leaned on a wall close to the doors of the room.
"Did you have any mayor complications?" Said Blake looking at her concerned thinking that whatever happened in the process could bring them problems in future.
Naaririel closed the doors and pushed the kids inside the room, leaning on the doors with his arms crossed "Well we had to fight some people but nothing other than that. We left them pretty bad so they shouldn't be a big deal for a while at least"
"It wasn't just some people, it was my dad!" Addison said with frustration " You guys would have killed them like they were nothing, who would even do that?" She looked directly at Tozul mad and frustrated with him for what happened, but she knew he wasn't the only at fault it was also Naaririel and her mom alongside with the council. She was still confused with everything that was happening, she was a little bit relieved as she was holding Elias's arm who was standing beside her.
"Oh kid, the only person or people you can blame is well... basically all of us" Said Tozul as he let out a sigh "But can't change anything now, can you? Never mind all that let's just get straight to the point or get some rest 'cause I'm T-I-R-E-D"
"What are you even talking about? I mean if you're all going to keep us here at least tell us what' going on, I think that's the least you could do after kidnapping us out in the open" Said Elias taking Addison to a near corner of the room trying to stay away from the others "All of you stay away from us, if you try to come close to us I swear I will fight you" He said while glaring at them.
Xalvok stood up and went to stand right in front of Elias and Addison while holding a dagger in his right hand "What are you going to do now kid? I'm standing right in front of you with a dagger in my hand, So what's your plan now? Are you going to scream at the top of your lungs?" He stepped closer.
"Alright. That's enough for today, how about we take this easy and explain them the situation since they know nothing and won't be of much help further on if they know nothing and Elias don't even try to threaten any of us because it's just a waste of time" Said Susan as she started to leave the room "I'll let you guys handle them. I'm going to be outside if you need me."
"I'll come with youuu!. Good luck kids and please don't die 'cause I want to talk to you, bye" Said Tozul while he left waving goodbye.
Blake let out a long sigh as he face palmed "Why do we have to work with that lazy, psychopathic dumb ass?" He stood up and walked over to Xalvok placing his hand on his shoulder and pulling him back "Xalvok back off from the kids so that we can talk properly and explain things, also kids get out of that corner it's annoying to see you there"
Addison made her way to the center of the room which was in front of the table, passing by Xalvok as he moved out of the way and leaning on the wall. Holding her hands together as she was nervous and scared at the situation. "Why is my mom working with you and what are you planning on doing with us?" She said with a slight tremble in her voice.
"Mom? W-wait Susan is your mom!?." He looked at her surprised with the news "You're Addison right? Well I'm Rozoth and we're basically planning to be in charge of the three realms and for that we need you."
Elias made his way standing next to Addison "Why would you need her? She's just a human after all and you guys are something else, I mean something that I haven't seen even once in my life" He said with a puzzled look.
"You'll know further on" Said Akaroz as he stood up leaning on the table "For now follow Naaririel to a room specially prepared for you two since you will be staying here for some time" He looked away as he was thinking on what Addison said before since nobody knew that she was the daughter of Susan, it was a surprise for all of them. For him The Council was his only family and they all knew each other's secrets and story and for something like this to suddenly emerge out of nowhere, for things to go well all they had to do is just trust each other like always and not get too close with the kids.
"Alright you heard him, let's go to your room" Said Naaririel while showing them the way to the room as they followed him. He left them in the room and then went back to where the rest of The Council were.
Susan was standing outside on the balcony resting her arms on the stone white railing. Tozul was sitting next to her with his legs over the railing "Man I'm exhausted after all that. Ya know sis we should catch up, don't ya think?" He said in a cheerful tone.
She looked at him with a slight smile "Yeah sure thing" she said with a slight pause "How do you get tired only after one fight? You're supposed to be in shape since you have more work after I left for a while." She let out a chuckle.
"Yeah, yeah but at least I still got it and you didn't do too bad yourself. Anyway, How has life been with Nick?" He said with a curious look on his face.
"Hm, I would say it's been good to say the least. I mean we had to hide the fact that I'm a Hybrid and Nick is a Demon from Addison for her whole life until you appeared" She glared at him "This past twenty one years she's thought that we were a normal family to her, that is to say only humans. It was harder for Nick because he wanted her to know the truth than live by a lie her whole life, although I did tell from the beginning that she would find out some day somehow that was obvious bu-"
"But it was easier for you since you've been lying most of your life" he interrupted "Well now I get to meet the kid hehe, not the way I would've wanted but it still works, ya know?"
Susan looked at him with a smirk "You sure wanted to meet her huh. Have you killed a village or clan lately? Or have you just been a lazy guy not helping out around here like your supposed to" She flicked his shoulder.
"Ok fine. I haven't been so cooperative because well you know, I enjoy being out doing my own thing or something else than being here unless I'm tired of course. I only took care of two villages, they didn't really put up much of a fight though" He got off the railing and laid down on the floor, covering his face with his hands.
"Well I'll be at the forest so signal me if you need anything, Alright? Also stop being so lazy and try to control your killer instincts for a while at least" She jumped off the balcony, walked out into the distance to a small forest they had nearby.
