Fight or Flight

Addison and Elias were now in the which had two beds across from each other and a small nightstand in the middle. They were sitting down on a bed and looking face to face thinking: What to do now? What can we do? or How can we get out?

He looked at her wondering what to say, not only because of the situation but also because of the silence they had "So um, How are you holding up?" This was the first time Elias had seen her so quiet, worried and scared. They've been best friends for most of their lives and knew each other's stories and secrets since they would share them often. "It's okay if you don't want to talk at the moment, I get it"

"No, no it's okay. I'm okay I think it's just I'm still in a sort of shock after learning all this out of nowhere and I really don't know what to do but I'm glad I'm with you" she smiled "I don't know how I didn't notice even once in my life that there was something different or off about my parents. Now that I think about it my mom would sometimes get really sick to the point that my dad wouldn't let me see her"

"Hm, well it isn't your fault for not noticing. Maybe we can ask your mom about more things since we know more and still don't know some things. What does that guy who left with your mom want to talk to us about" He said in a curious tone and laid down on the bed with his hands behind his head.

She leaned close to him "Do you think she's going to tell us something if we ask her? I mean after all she is the on-"He looked at her straight in the eyes, he interrupted "It's the least we can do at this point, don't you think?" He stood up and sat next to her on the bed "Yeah. I don't know what he wanted but what I do know is that his name is Tozul, he seems close with my mom. Should we also try talking to him?"

"I don't know, I have this bad feeling from him well from all of them but his was different you could say. But now that you mentioned it, yeah the both of them seem kinda close." He said looking up at the ceiling.

Tozul got up from the balcony floor and made his way to where Addison and Elias were. "I should take this chance to talk to the kid for the first time hehe" He got to the room and knocked twice before going in "Hello there kids" He said with a smile "Mind if we have a talk?" He sat down on the bed in front of them with his legs crossed.

They both looked at each other confused and then Addison said "How do you know my mom? Just wanted to know because you both seem pretty close"

Tozul smiled and placed his hands together as a clap "Ooh straight to the point! I like it. We seem close, you say? Well I suppose it's only natural since we are siblings and well-" "You're siblings!" Interrupted Elias surprised with what he just heard" Yes. As I was saying before, you young man interrupted me, although you're both twenty one so I don't know if you're considered young but for me it is since I'm way older and... ANYWAY! Sorry I got lost there for a moment. Me and Susan have stuck together practically since the beginning and I was overjoyed when I heard that you were going to be a part of the family. I've waited for a long time to finally talk to you and don't get me wrong it's not as if I never thought to go to you and talk, it's just complicated you could say"

"So what you're saying is that you're my uncle that I've never heard about before and never seen in any picture or in person and you've also wanted to talk to me but didn't because it's complicated. Oh and also since we met not so good things have happened to me but here you are all happy to talk"

He sighed "Yes that's exactly what I'm saying and I'm sorry if you haven't had a good time with all this but you were bound to find out one day somehow we all knew that" He looked away "I knew I should have listened to sis when she said you were going to be no fun when we talked" he murmured to himself.

"What did you just say? I couldn't hear you clearly." Said Elias in a confused tone "Also, How are you two siblings? Because from my point of view you don't have any similarities as in your physical look and your personality" He tilted his head sideways.

"Just because we don't look alike in our normal form doesn't mean we ain't siblings aaand you don't know well to say if our personalities match somehow, but I can assure you we are brother and sister" He looked at him with a smirk "So, Addison, Is he your only friend? I'm only asking because I want to get to know you better but also he isn't so nice and I might just hurt him, if he goes on with this little attitude"

"Yes he is and don't try anything funny. Why do you guys need me in the first place? I'm just a human and I still don't know how to use my power, so I'm basically useless" She said looking straight into Tozul's eyes.

"You don't know how to use your powers?? Hmm, now that's problematic but we'll deal with it while you're here. Alright, so you don't only have your power for being human but that's all I can tell you for now. " Said Tozul as he stood up walking towards the door "I'll be going now, take care of each other while you can and try not to get in trouble" He left closing the door behind him.

Elias let out a sigh "Well at least we got something out of him, not much but it's still something. For now let's just rest and tomorrow we can think about what we do moving forward, ok?" He laid down on his bed and closed his eyes.

"Yeah you're right. Rest well then" She said, laying down, closing her eyes, facing the wall and thinking about who they would ask for information since they didn't get much from Tozul.
