Plan A

After Ramses explained the current situation how he and Dex had ended up in the misfortune event, by the time Ramses has finished his storytelling, we were both shocks by the new information.

"But… How did it happen, Adriel had kept the place sealed, he wouldn't just let something like this happened, he wouldn't only make a mistake like this? Jacob was confused, he would always see his brother work, and he knows that Adriel knows what he was doing.

He has seen Adriel countless of times trying to murmur enchantment over the place, Adriel was someone who wouldn't just endanger someone, he knew better than anyone just to let something like this go past him. It has been a burden he had to live for the rest of his life. But he knew if he didn't it would have cost another life, and it was better to keep the burden himself.

"That's what we thought too, the only person who could open and close the gates is Adriel, but he wouldn't just let things like this slide, Hades was never the best father, but he knew the burden he had given Adriel was something his son will be able to handle," Ramses murmur.

I was hearing them discuss and I wonder about what they had said, a gate from the underworld?

"Wait there the gates of the underworld all this time, you mean we've been –"I said, and Ramses chuckles.

"Yes, and it's connected to the underworld, the underworld is not a very nice place you would like to visit and why do you think Adriel is there? It'll take a second home for him, not too far from the underworld like a portal," He said, and Jacob nods on Ramses statement.

"Adriel's mom, Persephone, had built the portal so he could go back as much as he wants, it was also a way for her to get away from Hades. Knows the place and had it for Persephone, not that he likes knowing his wife was not with him 24/7, but it was better than being stubborn, asking him to bring her back to earth," Ramses had said.

I nodded at him as he sat back down, slumping a bit on the chair, a habit Ramses to have, he likes to sit straight and to see him slouch was a bit funny.

"But as our hunch, that monster that came out from there was not from hell itself, and it must have come up from another place and had stumbled upon Adriel's place. Otherwise, Adriel would have sensed something, hell us demigod would have sense trouble under our nose." Ramses said, he was right Adriel was a sensitive man, I could even conclude he has OCD. So seeing him not being able to sense it was weird.

Unless someone had brought the thing in and then concealed it, but I don't think that might happened.

"Wait… does that mean those were the monster that banished to the creeks?" I asked and looked at Jacob," You told me about this, do you think the monsters or the thing might come from the creeks?"

They all looked at each other and thought," It could be. If it it's true then we are in serious trouble, those things are not easy to kill, not even us, a demigod had the power to do so, I mean –"Ramses was pointing to Dex who was still lying in bed as Jacob tries to soothe his pain," He wouldn't be in his death bed right."

"I'm not going to die Ramses," Dex grunt at the overdramatic demigod.

"Well, we're in grave danger right now, and you should speak for yourself, I'm not the one in the bed right now with an opened gash," Dex could only grunt as he tries to stand up, but Jacob held him down from doing so.

"You. If only I were more careful, I would have slapped you for giving up, I can't believe you're just going to give up because some monster started to show up –"Dex scoffs making Ramses who was listening fuming in anger.

No, no… Dex, this is not the right time to start a fight.

"Dex –"

"No, you listen, we can't give up, since when –"Dex started to stand up and I ran beside him helping, and he grunts –"since when do you give up? Since when Ramses Atla back down from this kind of thing?" Dex said, and Ramses looks at Dex and nods.

"What's the plan?"

Jacob nods, and he went to Ramses assisting him with the plan for them to get out of here, I hope it works.

"That some good pep talk," I said as I help him sit down.

He chuckles while hissing at the sudden movement that might hurt his gash," Everyone needs to have a peep talk once in a while, Ramses is sometimes an over-thinker. He was thinking of the possibilities of every outcome."

"and is that bad?"

"No… I appreciate Ramses for the thought, but sometimes you just got to go and do it, you'll think of the consequence later."

"Acting so irrationally?"

"Nope. I'll know I have made that choice, at least I'm not going to regret doing it because I tried. Nobody will know of the outcome."

So after the peep talk we had, a plan was to form 50-50 chances it will fail, but they fight, die trying or live like a coward for the rest of your life, not my words.

A little rundown on the plan, we need to break out of this place, and away from Holly, we need to bring Dex because right now the guy couldn't even stand up properly without hissing. While Ramses and I run to the outer gates, Jacob had volunteered himself to battle with Holly.

He said it would be better if he's the one handling her, She wasn't too friendly to Ramses before and now, he things Holly would have bitten his head first.

So right now we were running around trying to figure out a way to get out of this maze, it was so easy when Jacob had led you here, why was it so confusing now.

"Amethyst darling, I know I'm going to sound like I'm nagging, but you would understand right now we are in a dangerous place, no time for stopping," I look at him and apologize as we run we heard laughter over the distance.

I was never the kind of person who believes in ghost but seeing the joker/slender man like a monster in the distance as it was getting closer by the second was something that might make my nightmares happening again.

As it's eyes were boring at us, he was sauntering as the dagger in his hands was ready to attack
