Raymond

But I couldn't help to agree as the place was all worn down, but it was so extravagant. As the site was where it was glorious on it's time the area was still somehow perfect despite it being so worn down.

I couldn't help to gasp on the interior if I had a chance to go back home and tell famous expeditions on what I had seen for the past few days they would have thrown me inside a mental asylum.

As all of the thousand books on Greeks and mythology I love reading was all half true.

Seeing the rows and isle of books and scrolls, I was amazed how there were a lot of books and scrolls kept in here. It must have been millennium years trying to gather all of these books and scrolls, and I couldn't help to look at the guys.

They were walking ahead of me, they must have lived a decade or centuries longer, a bit longer than what I had expected. But I also couldn't help to laugh as even if they're centuries longer, they could still act like a kid, I mean how couldn't think about it? Ramses and Jacob were walking while Adriel was looking and secretly smiling, the only gloomy-looking demigods were Dex.

I hope he's going to be okay.

As the five of us step inside we begin to look around, and it was no surprise to see some of the books and scrolls were scattered around the room, I mean who would have time to even re-decorate the place and put books and scrolls on the right place?

It made me wonder about the history of the place's downfall and what had happened. As I try to pick up one of the scrolls, a hand suddenly stop me from touching.

"You shouldn't touch anything thy, it could really affect the spells, and it's not going to be a good idea. We need to make a good impression on Raymond," I looked at the person who held my hands I was faced with Jacob. Nodding my head, I obey this time, I'm not ready to make another demigod angry.

As we begin walking another set of voice had voiced out.

"Ramses… is that you?" hearing a new and unfamiliar voice had caused me to hide behind Jacob as he holds my shoulder.

Ever since he came back not a single scratch from hid battle from Holly, he was deemed worthy enough to be the strongest, beside Adriel. To protect all of us hence the 24/7 constant for the lookout. But it seems like he was using that title too far as he was protecting me now side by side. It feels like I was being babied with him and his excuse was always he wanted to protect me from another Unknown.

"Ray? Where are you… it's me." Ramses was walking in front of Adriel as Adriel was also walking forward so that he can take Dex to Raymond.

There out pop a demigod with purple hair, something contrasting to the others, his white wreath in his head and grey robe he was wearing and thick rim glass hung in the bridge of his nose and a book on his left hands.

"Ray… I need your help with –"

"Ramses… did you perhaps meet Adriel on your way here? I sense a sudden change of energy bursting from Adriel's place, and it seems like it's from the valley of death, " the man started and huff.

He continues, "I was wondering if you can ask Adriel about it, I mean I would if he didn't want my head in the platter and – oh you're here…" Raymond had to pause his sentence when he saw Ramses' worried face and some more familiar faces he hadn't seen in a long time due to circumstances.

Then he saw a black mist started to appear as Raymond's eyes widen. Why wouldn't he? He was seeing his friend on the verge of his death bed, again.

"Dex! Quickly bring him in here," Raymond's voice echoes as the voices matched with their footstep. We were greeted with a large study room, and it almost looks so cosy. Bottles of wines were scattered, and scrolls were suddenly flying away from a long armchair, the ones you can find in a psychiatrist's room; candle lights started to lit up.

Adriel quickly laid Dex in the armchair and Raymond started to grab different herbs and bottles from different places.

"Jacob… can you please get me a bottle of – " the room was hectic as Raymond was leading all of it when suddenly his eyes land to me.

I've been hiding behind the pillars letting them in the elements as I don't want to cause any trouble, but it seems like he had a sharp eye, to begin with.

"I would ask about the sudden appearance of a goddess her, But my friend is more important, so I hope you understand."

nodding my head he smiles as he bing to work on an antidote," I would personally escort you all to the table, but I'm in need and incapable of doing it right now so I hope you can explore a bit of the place and –"

Raymond didn't have to tell Adriel that twice as he suddenly strides his way to me as I yelp when the black must have engulfed us both, and there we were transported into another room.

We were transported into a room where there were no books at present, but doors at each of the corner as It was suddenly opened into a garden, inside the doom shape like the room was a long table that was fit for more than 20 people, well humans.

Gliding my way to the table I had seen Adriel had taken upon himself to silently find his way into the side of the table and created a chair like black mist as he was sitting down.

He closes his eyes. I didn't want to bother him since he was grumpy since we had argued before and his glares towards Jacob and I was not helping either. Not wanting to disturb his rest I had taken myself to a tour of the place, noticing that the marbles table had cravings, indicating another language I had to familiarize with over the past few days, Greek words.
