Chapter 4 - System
After Diane has been released from the hospital she's been staying at home for the past few days
During these times Diane would be trying to figure out how her power would work
"Ugghhh, How does my power even work? I've been trying for days yet nothing pops up" Diane said talking to herself
"System!" Diane screamed followed up by a long silence
"Maybe gesturing could work" She tried a bunch of hand motions whilst screaming 'System', she tried waving, flicking her fingers yet nothing happened
"Hmmm..... This is making my head hurt, I should take a break" Diane said to herself
As she turns on the tv, the first channel to pop up was the news
"This is too boring, I'm gonna switch cha----" Diane gets cut off
"Last week a terrorist attack has happened at a local high school" The anchorman said
"They were chasing a girl said to be a powerless" He continued
"But can you believe that? A powerless living in this world, I pity the person if this is even real" His partner said
"Anyways the said terrorist is from the international villain organization also known as 'The Blank Order' has been kidnapping people left and right, we didn't expect they would resort to a terrorist attack" The anchorman said
"I think that's enough news for now" Diane said as she turns of the tv
"Hmmm I got it! 'System Call!' Diane shouted
as soon as she finished shouting a purple screen popped up in front of her
Something is written on screen
"Welcome user, You've been given a gift by the one and only Giver of Blessings"
"A message was sent to you,would you like to read it?"
"yes/no"
"Hmmm, I wonder who's this from?" Diane said as she pressed yes
"Hey whats up! It's ya boy that gave you the powers"
"Is he trying to be hip?" Diane thought to herself
She continues to read
"You just figured out how to use your powers"
"This will greatly benefit you, It will give you the ability to protect the one's you loved"
"You could hit me up anytime you want to ask someone questions -Sincerely The Giver"
"I probably wont contact him anytime soon, but there are some tabs here that may contain more information about my powers" Diane thought to herself
Diane started fidgeting with the screen trying to find out what she could do, she didn't want to reveal this to anyone yet but her mom bursts into her room
"Hey sweetie what we're you doing? I saw you fidgeting your fingers, whats wrong?" Diane's mom said
"Nothing mom! Just day dreaming" She said flustered trying to the hide the screen
"Well if you say so" Her mom replied
Her mom leaves as if nothing even happened
"Hmm... that's weird, She didn't notice the screen, That's a relief" Diane said to herself
Diane spent the entire night learning more about her powers and finding a way to get stronger
