There was a loud sound of sirens outside. Everyone rushed out of their rooms to see what it was and just as expected, it was the military.
Squad Lewis just woke up when they looked at each other.
"Yuri," they all chorused.
Adonis and Yuri went to the former's room the night before. They said they had to talk about something and their friends agreed.
Now, thinking about it was bad. It was very bad.
They slammed Adonis's room door open. "Yuri!"
"Shh," Adonis said, placing a finger on his lips.
Their teammates' mouths were agape. Adonis was shirtless, wearing only sweatpants. Yuri was in his bed, also half naked.
"What did you do last night?" Rodney asked, narrowing his eyes.
Adonis raised his arms, "Chill. We only drank since he said he misses vodka. Then it was so hot so we removed our shirts."
"You didn't do anything else?" Kagura asked, also narrowing her eyes. "You know youre not in a relationship, right? You'll play with Yuri's feelings if you do more than friendly gestures.
Adonis shook his head vigorously, "No. I wouldn't go that far when we're not even clear about each other."
"Well…" Rodney dragged and elbowed Devin who looked like he was in a trance. "What do you say, team leader?"
"At least Yuri did not go on rage mode," Devin said. "Good thing you drank. I couldn't imagine how Yuri would react."
"Yep," Adonis said. "What's up with the sirens anyway?"
"The military thought it would be funny," Margaux said clicking her tongue. "What a bunch of *ssholes."
"Let's check in with Bob," Devin said. "Maybe he has something to say. Adonis, wake Yuri up. Get some Advil for his headache too."
"Yes sir," Adonis said.
Their hands got to their side but their Reverences weren't there.
Devin grinned awkwardly, "Err."
He raised his hand in front of him, "Squad Lewis?"
The others chuckled and put their hands on top of his, "Squad Lewis!"
Yuri sat up, his eyes still closed. "Swad Wuwis!".
–
"Good to know some of you know what the sirens meant," Bob said, looking around the handful of students.
"There were sirens?" Yuri whispered.
Devin slowly nodded. "Yeah, but you were asleep. It didn't wake you up too, so it's good right?"
"Yep," Yuri said. "Good thing I drank last night. I missed vodka."
"How did you get vodka anyway?" Kagura asked. "Liquor is banned inside the school."
"I have Grimms," was Yuri's short answer.
"Now, since the trial wouldn't happen until next week, you will have to undergo standard military procedures," Bob said. "Run 20 laps around the field. Go!"
"We have a field?" Devin asked.
Their mouths were wide agape and their blood boiled. A part of the forest was removed and a track field was in place.
"They did this overnight?" Devin shook his head. "Freaking–"
Rodney placed his finger on Devin's lips and pointed at his wrist. Devin nodded in understanding.
"Freaking awesome!" Devin rolled his eyes. "The military is so cool."
His friends snorted and had no other choice but to run the laps.
It wasn't tiring to run a couple of times around the field under the hot blistering sun. What the frustrating thing was that they aren't willing to do so. The military already took their classes away. Only to put another one.
The situation was frustrating.
"Are you okay?" Rodney asked.
"Yeah," Devin said. "Let's just talk later."
"Okay."
The day ended with the soldiers putting the students into different trainings. Running, push-ups, lifts. They looked like soldiers in training. Even forced to memorize a chant.
Devin got to his room and took a bath. When he got out, he almost leaped above the roof after seeing the twins.
"What are you doing here?" Devin asked.
"We just went by," Andrei answered, lifting a paper with a note on it. 'Let's talk.'
"Okay. I'll just change."
"How are you?" Andrew asked. 'The military wants to take over.'
"I'm fine," Devin replied. 'We know.'
"Good," Andrei muttered. 'They don't plan on releasing Tina and Liu.'
With gritted teeth, Devin spoke. "How about you?" 'What in the hell?!'
"We're good. Just new to this whole thing," Andrew said. 'Something happened in the UK.'
"Oh?" Devin gasped. 'What did?'
"Yeah. Have you eaten dinner yet?" Andrew asked. 'The reporter. She denied the article.'
"No way– I-I mean, not yet." Devin facepalmed that made the twins chuckle. 'So?'
"We'll cook, you just watch TV or something," Andrew suggested. 'The only evidence the Allied Forces just vanished.'
'They don't have anything against us now.' Andrei added. 'We have a chance.'
Devin let out a sigh of relief. It was as if a heavy burden was lifted off from his shoulders. He almost felt like fainting.
The room was silent until Devin wrote. 'Will we be okay?'
Andrei smiled. 'I guess we will be.'

"ABV Network's Doris Robbie is facing a major backlash after a reliable source says she is the mother of the famous reporter Andrea," a reporter said on the news. "We could all remember that Andrea was the reporter from ABV Network who released an article online against the Union of Exorcists."
"Although she released a video the next day, denying the article, her name came up once again when a tip was made and a DNA test result was posted online saying 'Doris Robbie and Andrea are related'. The result showed a 99% maternal match with Andrea and Doris. ABV Network has not released a statement yet–"
A remote was slammed against the large flat screen TV. "No!"
"Why didn't you tell me, honey?" Doris's husband asked.
"I-I thought you wouldn't love me anymore," Doris fell to her knees and sobbed. "I thought you would leave me if you knew."
"Do you think I'm that shallow?" her husband asked. "I'll love you just the same. Come on, let's get Andrea and let her come over. She would like it here."
"Are you sure?" Doris asked.
Her husband nodded. "Yes. Besides, at where she is now, the reporters could annoy her. Our home is way safer."
"Thank you," Doris cried.
"I love you dear," her husband kissed her forehead.
–
"What shall I do?" Andrea asked, pulling her hair. "I didn't mean for this to happen."
Her bedroom's blinds were shut because the reporters were out in the daylight, stalking her. They all wanted answers and she couldn't give them any.
She doesn't want to give them any.
"You should just calm down," Roy said.
Andrea's phone buzzed. She checked it and saw it was from Doris.
'I'll come and pick you up. You should stay here for the time being.'
She was about to reply when there was a knock on the door.
"That was quick," she said.
Andrea went to the door and opened it, only to get kicked on her stomach. She fell to the floor with a thud.
"What the–"
A gun sounded and a red stain appeared on Roy's stomach.
"Roy!" Andrea screamed but her face was covered by a bag. She felt everything spin until she lost consciousness.
Not long after, Doris ran upstairs and was shocked after seeing the opened door. "Andrea?!"
She ran inside, only to scream when a bloodied Roy met her gaze. "Darwin, honey there's a man!"
Darwin ran to Roy's side. He checked his pulse and let out a sigh of relief, "He's alive. I'll call an ambulance."
Doris nodded. Her phone rang and without looking at the caller ID, she answered it.
"How is my surprise to you?" the man asked.
"Monster!"
"Yes, I know. And this monster will kill your daughter if you don't discredit Andrea."
"And how will I do that?" Doris asked.
"Not my problem," the man said and ended the call.
Doris, once again, fell to her knees. "I-I…"
"Who was that?" Darwin asked. "What did she do to Andrea?"
"We're– I… I don't know anymore," Doris sobbed. "They're too powerful. Bob Titan is too powerful."
