They stared at the pebble in awe. Devin was gulping as he slowly draped his fingers over the stone, feeling the engraved symbol in it.
"I-I did this?" Devin asked in a whispered tone. "I-I did this!"
Mason chuckled, seeing the boy grab his stone and jump like a little kid. To say that he was impressed was an understatement. He had rarely seen people create a talisman on their first try, let alone create a high quality one just like what Devin created.
"You see, there are other ways to create a talisman but rocks, pebbles and stones are the most basic ones," Mason said. "You can use just about any item, imbue your powers within it and you're good to go."
"How come they never teach this at Brightburn?" Devin pouted. "It would've been amazing if they taught us useful items like these."
Mason stopped momentarily, turning to Elliot while his arms were crossed. "What do you mean? Talismans were only discovered about 2 years ago."
