"The Rude Woman Who Likes Gold"

The rude woman was Amanda Hiddleworth, an ex-politician, who was said to have embezzled funds from the government. When she was still a government official, it was almost every day that she's on the news. One time, the topic was about how her husband was a good person and how she was the opposite of him. Her husband resigned because Amanda had done such a disgraceful act. Afterward, the news was about their divorce. She was a hot topic all around the country and was said to have decided to hide for a year. People then heard about her when she had already filed for an annulment, and she remarried a young politician, Robert Threshwood. Although "Hiddleworth" was her ex-husband's surname, she kept it because of her sons' request.

Sanno knew her and had researched about her before, including one of her sons Jayce Hiddleworth, who's in prison for possessing and selling drugs. He also knew how black her heart was. He knew that she's an evil person, and he suddenly had the urge to see her disappointed. "We're going to buy it," Sanno told the shop lady after glaring at Amanda.

"I have a golden VIP card," Amanda said while taking out her thick wallet. She pulled out the card and showed it to the store lady.

"Ohh…" the lady examined Amanda's card. It's a real golden VIP card, which meant that she would be prioritized in line. The lady turned to Sanno and said, "I'm sorry sir, but because of the shop's VIP card terms and conditions, she must be prioritized…"

Sanno didn't want to lose to this rude woman. "Please wait," he said. He quickly took his leather wallet and took a card.

When Sanno showed his card, the shop lady said, "Oh my, I'm sorry Mrs. Hiddleworth. But I have to give the fur coat to them…"

"Why? I showed you my VIP card! It's not just any VIP card, it's a GOLD one!!!" Amanda shouted at the lady.

"B-but, ma'am…" the shop lady tried to explain, "He's got a DIAMOND VIP Card…"

Amanda was so shocked to hear that the guy in front of her, who had messy hair and wore a cheap, white long-sleeved top, showed a Diamond VIP card. It wasn't just any other card; it was the most expensive card in the shop's hierarchy of cards. It even skipped the Platinum one.

"Where did you steal that?" Amanda asked. It was her first time to see someone with that kind of card. She was very suspicious of him, and told the shop lady, "I demand that you check his I.S. code!"

Sanno chuckled, seeing that she was annoyed. "Fine," he said, and the shop lady took the shop's official tablet. He let the tablet scan his I.S. code, and when he was done, the tablet was sent back to the cashier.

When the lady returned to them, "It was a true Diamond VIP Card, and his name was displayed on the screen, as well as the transaction date when he bought the card." She then called the two other assistants to help her with the mannequin. "This is the only stock we have. It's a limited edition designer fur coat, so the stock is limited... I'm sorry, Mrs. Hiddleworth-"

Before she even finished talking, Amanda turned her back on them. "I'm never going back here again!!!" and she briskly walked out of the shop.

Sanya stood there, surprised about the scene. Why was Sanno holding something like that, and how in the world did he afford to buy a VIP Card?

Sanno smirked. "Loser." he thought, while internally laughing at her.

Sanya remained quiet while Sanno was transacting at the counter. They returned to the basement parking space, and when they entered the car, "Sanya, what's on your mind?"

"Sanno," she murmured. She fixed her eyeglasses, "Are you hiding something from me?"

Sanno had already foreseen this kind of scene. He admitted to himself that he was a bit careless showing the VIP Card. "What do you mean?"

"It's weird that you have a VIP Card like that, in a foreign brand boutique, in an exclusive mall," Sanya explained. "It's not like I don't trust you, but… it made me realize that I still do not know you that much."

He let out a sigh and replied, "I'm just not the type to tell all my life stories. I didn't mean to hide some things from you," he leaned in closer to her, placed his hand on her chin, and raised her head a little, "You trust me, right?"

"Sa...Sanno…" Sanya uttered. "Of course."

They looked straight into each other's eyes. Sanya, who was a newbie in love and relationships, thought that Sanno would kiss her. The scene was like a movie, and she wanted to be the leading lady.

When she closed her eyes, it was only then that he realized that they were too close.

"Poor girl, she's clearly infatuated with me… I'm sorry, Miss Mayheart." Sanno thought while staring at the naive young scientist. Honestly, he felt bad about it, but it was one sure way to gather data and evidence against D.M. Cadre. He needed to take care of their relationship to continue spying on those wicked scientists, and it seemed like he was justifying his actions. Sanya had become an essential part of his plan, especially when he heard about her promotion. She would become one of the Core Scientists, and it would be easier for him to collect evidence. With that thought, he started caressing her cheeks.

Sanya felt hot by this and continued to close her eyes. She was anticipating a sweet kiss, and she wondered how it felt. She had never experienced it, but she wanted to. A lot of things clouded her mind, and all were fantasies about her and Sanno. She was not familiar with fairytales, but she felt like she was waiting for a kiss from her Prince Charming.

As she wondered how Sanno's lips would taste, something soft and cold brushed against her lips.
